"Mend" is not considered as healing action, but Adrenalin actually “heals” Deep Wound
I am confused.

The healing interaction, mending interaction, and a health state are 3 completely different things.
Mending is an action that recovers you from Deep Wound. Deep Wound is implemented as a health state.
Whenever you finish the mending interaction you "heal" from the Deep Wound health state, while the mending interaction itself is not considered healing. This is to prevent healing modifiers to apply to mending.
Adrenaline is not processed as a healing interaction as it instantly heals a health state instead. Since the healing interaction needs to channel with either Self Care, a med-kit, or healing others.

Having Deep wounds is considered a health state (Which is why adrenaline works, which I think is stupid). I have no idea why they would make mending a non-healing action except for maybe balance around Nurse's Calling and Sloppy Butcher...

Because then killers would Nurse's the BT saved survivor, and we dont need that precedent.

then the simplest solution would be to not let adrenaline "heal" the state if its not considered a health state.
people have been asking for legion buffs and stuff, this could be one of the ways they could improve their kit a bit.

Yeah, wouldn't want Killers using their perks.

As far as I know, Deep Wound is considered a health state by the game (don't know if it's intended tho). Therefore Adrenaline heals Deep Wounds, but not the injured health state.

These two obviously can't be counted as healing. Doc and Legion are already OP killers.

The alternative would be going directly to healthy state tho.
