Dedicated servers delay

I want to say thank you for delaying the dedicated servers. I know how much the community has been waiting for them, but I’m glad you guys decided to not release them as they were.

The huntress’ bugs were awful to the point where it was hard to play her. I didn’t play the plague, but I’m sure it was just the same. Some hit registrations were weird and I rather they be improved than being forced to play on the servers while we wait for the fix.

    @JasonDark86 I'm sorry, what's your problem?

    I totally agree. I can't believe how disrespectful it was of the devs to go out of their way to set up a PTB so that their players could have a role in testing new features. I too will start quitting matches in protest against this atrocity.

    The problem is the lack of credibility, it's 9 months promising the dedicated server, and if they can't focus on one goal, don't promise. I find it absurd to have such an important project and set aside to create so much crap and forget about the main project.

    @JasonDark86 OH WELL.... luls

    Lots of times companies put out deadlines and don't hit them. Promising is allot different from setting a deadline.

    Maybe don't play... No one is forcing you too. Might be time to take a break. I hear Civ is fun.

    if you followed all the dedicated server upgrade notes, the deadline and the statement that everything would be working normally by the end of the summer was very clear. just as they promised bug fix . It's obviously a company that doesn't care about the public and all they want is to make money without having to work. I will only reciprocate all this time I was supporting the game and opening numerous tickets reporting bugs in general, and always charging the lack of punishment for those who disconnect from matches. That's why I will disrupt the fan experience of the new season.

    @JasonDark86 Setting deadlines isn't promising anything. Companies generally don't "promise" you stuff. They aren't little kids sitting in the playground promising you anything.

    You seem to take things a bit to serious. Someone sets a deadline... Doesn't make it.

    You are acting like they personally attacked you or something.

    Are you ok?

    I won't waste my time with you, if you think that's right, great for you, I'm not happy about it and I don't think they do a serious and honest job. Respect my opinion that I respect your ok?

    @JasonDark86 Well you say they aren't being honest or ethical. I actually don't think you know what those two words mean.

    If anything I see them as being honest and ethical when they come out and are being honest as to why they aren't releasing them. Then also being ethical in why they aren't releasing them. Since it would be unethical to release those servers in the current state.

    It is one thing to be respectful of opinions, but when you voice them in a public forum and state you will "disrupt" the fan experience. You shouldn't be ignorant to the fact people might respond to your "opinion".

    It would be unethical of you to go out of your way to ruin the experience of others in the game, simply because you are unhappy that dedicated servers were not released.

    What you do is, what allot of business do when their employees don't meet their deadlines. You hear out their reasoning and either extend the deadline, move them off the project or you fire them. Since as a customer you don't have any control on extending it, you either agree to their reasoning or not, using your pocket book.

    The game has a reporting system, I will be punished. After all everything works fine. I'm not just fighting for the dedicated server, it's the series of other bugs that promised to fix and simply ignored. Putting new dlcs with new bugs and ignoring old bugs. And I got tired of opening a lot of tickets to help with these bugs. And that is unethical and I am just acting as responsible for this company.
