Cruel Limits
So, would it have been too powerful to have Tier 3 block all Vaults for 60 seconds when the last Gen was completed? That would have made this perk good as this perk is extremely map reliant and unusable on most maps.

Devs nerfed it to 24 metres, it' s bad anyway. Yeah they can do that 60 seconds thing, still won't use it i guess. xD

im still sad they changed the name... Cruel Confinement is way cooler. they not only nerfed the perk but its name too

Or all vaults every time for 20-30 seconds so its not only useful at the end.
Having it be near a gen means its only useful if they do a gen in your face.

Tbh they went way too safe with the new perks. Even the 32 meters they said it would have before was already kind of weak. 24 guarantees that I wonβt ever use it outside of adept achievements. The same goes for surge. Mindbreaker is also garbage with that stupid 50% attribute they slapped onto it.

I think it should have been hex: Cruel Confinement Whenever a Survivor vaults a window it is automatically blocked by the entity for 10 seconds. This totems effects last 20/40/60 seconds after the totem is destroyed.

When the chapter was announced every perk looked healthy and fair and then they buffed Survivor perks while nerfing the Killer perks. I thought they were finally heading down the right path but they haven't learned and I don't think they will. They're too scared to make this a good and balanced game.

That perk seems utterly useless.
24meters is nothing especially if survivors run exhaustion perks like Sprint Burst and for those who prefer Dead Hard or Lithe - it only blocks windows not pallets.
The perk can only be used "UP TO" 5 times per game yet it's weak enough to get ignored by experienced survivors.
Good idea - bad execution.

I wouldn't mind this, but if you combined my idea with your idea, the perk should be pretty solid.
Basically, any survivors within 16 meters to a completed generator will have all of their vaults blocked for 30 seconds. Then when the last generator is completed, your idea can take effect. :)

On Haddonfield, Coldwind & Springwood it's AMAZING! Stairs only = easy downs π

That's the problem, the imbalances between maps is horrendous.
Almost every map needs to be balanced, and if they make loops a lot shorter, the game would be in a healthier place. The fact that some maps are FILLED with safe pallets and windows, and some FILLED with unsafe windows and pallets is frustrating. And that's not even factoring in when 2 or more tiles with safe pallets are spawned beside eachother.
Overall, the only way for perks like this to be useful, would be reworking many of the maps.

this perk doesn't work on most maps due to gens being no where near vault locations
