About time we got another perk slot

There are that many good perks in the game now it makes it hard to choose which perk to use. In fact in a way the devs have admitted that there are a lot of perks as they changed the blood web to make perks show up easier etc.

One idea I had was maybe add a fifth perk slot but make it a semi permanent perk. So you can swap four of the perks around whenever you want but as for the fifth perk, you set it and its permanent until you pay 2000 shards to reset it.

    Yeah I would love to have more things on my survivor too but tbh we are so OP already...and I don't think a fifth perk slot would be really that much helpful on the killer side. (I'm red rank in both)

    I wouldn't be against it if the survivors had "focus perks" and killer free for all.

    Let me explain;

    a default survivor(Quentin) could equip 1 healing perk, 1 exhaustion perk, 1 sensory/aura reading perk, 1 support perk and 1 bonus perk.

    The bonus perk would be related to the survivor. Meg could equip an extra exhaustion perk, Dwight an extra aura reading perk, etc.

    Imo this would "soft balance" builds and make survivors more than just skins.

    Devs are still trying to make the game balanced around 4 perks, adding another slot would brake the game completely for a long time.

    The only way I see it is if that perk was "character teachable"

    As in you play as Dwight and the 5th perk can be Leader, Prove thyself or Bond.

    Amount of perks is getting bigger, but if we will get note perk slots we'll slowly lose game screen to icons :/

    No. That would just kill the game.
