Inner Strength is better than i thought
Absolutely loving this perk. It saves so much time, great counter for Sloppy Butcher as well.
It also helps against tunnelers if you combine it with DS or Head on or even both. They either have to take the stun or let you get the heal while you're inside the locker.

Inner Strength is insanely powerful. You can ignore mending and sloppy PLUS you can't be seen by aura reading perks while healing PLUS it's insanely fast PLUS it got a godlike synergy with already meta perks.
It's a new meta perk in my opinion.

We'll see how good it is when everyone starts running it. There are only five totems. On maps like Hawkins you're lucky if you can even find one.

Its really helping reduce the Noed, too, because everyone is cleansing totems.

It's a really good perk, I was sure it would be as well. It also saves the person who just saved you the time of healing you, so they can get back on a gen. That said, it ruins altruism points. Devs really need to rework survivor goals.

I like the perk its a powerful perk that doesn't feel unfair like the old mettle of man (please rework mettle of man!)
The only beef I have with Inner strength is that I can almost never get second wind to activate. This perk has become meta for a lot of survivors that most healing is done in lockers these days.
Second Wind and Inner Strength work against each other.

Try running We'll Make It. Unless the killer is very close only a moron would refuse that heal. It would be faster than Inner Strength and allow them to keep the heal for an emergency.

Let's not spread the word you know this is gonna get nerfed if we keep this up.
2 -
Not really. Second Wind is just a bad perk. It's harder to activate because you have a limited window to use it.
It's similar to Deliverance. If you don't get your unhook first and heal someone before your second hook, you never get to use it. And it only works if the killer doesn't tunnel you -- and killers tend to tunnel hooked survivors to eliminate you.
I'm currently leveling Steve and have both perks. I use Inner Strength maybe twice a match. I had to run like five matches before I even got Second Wind to proc.
Second Wind is just a much inferior option. I thought Second Wind looked good on paper but in practice it's junk.

I'm liking it so far. I don't really find it to be too good. I still have to spend time finding a totem, cleansing it, and the going to a locker on top of the 8 seconds. Overall, I don't think I'm really saving any time, if I was just trying to min-max I would probably better off just bringing a medkit. It is really nice being able to set it up ahead of time and heal quickly when you need it, though.
But ultimately, the more meta it becomes, they worse it gets. Instead of being able to pull it off up to five times when you're the only one using it, everyone else ends up fighting for totems as well. No matter how many people are using it, it can only go off five times.

I've actually had a lot of cases where I saved the banked totem because everyone was running We'll Make It for some reason! I don't get why the sudden in crease in We'll Makers but not gonna complain.

The perk is good until more than 2 people are using it. You'll get max 1 totem maybe 2. I like the design because the perk is powerful when fewer people run it due to the limited amount of totems.

I got it to proc three + times in multiple trials. It's a great perk.

Haunted grounds is a hilarious counter to it, because if they cleanse a totem they get 60 seconds of exposed
If they don't they only get 3 totems the whole game
2 -
I always cleanse totems HG or not. Hahhaha! If we get exposed sorry to my friends who got downed.

It's only truly useful in a combo with DS and Head On. If they disable DS while in lockers, IS will get shadow nerfed automatically.

It might be a new perk combo with my ds head on unhook myself dh not sure with 1 to replase tho

I think it should go to a token based system. If I cleanse 3 totems then I should get 3 heals.

Agreed, i hate finding another totem after i just broke one and knowing i can't break it before i use the healing i get from the first totem.
Well, you can break it. But if you want to make good use of the perk it's better to leave it there for later.

lol, only if the killer deserved to lose in the first place. At most, this will result in a total of 5 heals between all survivors in a single match. Guess what survivors running around cleansing totems aren't doing. Generators. Survivors running around hiding in lockers is also an opportunity for a free hook if you catch them. Trust me. The game won't be broken if it was token based.

as a killer main, i don't find this perk annoying since it can be used max 5 times, so no big deal to me

I've noticed several people running it lately, and I started wounding and letting them run off if I heard a gen running during the chase. It worked better than using Ruin. So then I ran TotH, just to see if there was a correlation and sure enough. Hit, chase, if I don't down them by the time I hear a gen, peel off and hit. Shortly after, watch a totem disappear and someone get healed. Means I have two off the gens. One looking for a totem and healing, the other being chase. Not bad.
Won't work that way as you rank up though.

It is a really good perk. Especially in solo survivor where sometimes you might get a heal and others you might not.
This is a nice backup to have and very useful for those who don’t like bringing a medkit.
