Where would rate Demo on the tier list?
He seems mid-tier but I haven't played him enough to decide. Not sure if I want to invest bloodpoints.

Right now, weaker than Myers and stronger than Pig.

To me Demo, feels stronger than both and at the top of the A tier, right behind Freddy. His portals are strong and can provide great mobility when using them. His special attack can catch a few people off guard and break pallets. He has a form of killer instinct which helps you know the location. He's not as strong as S tier killers like Billy.

He is A tier imo. Right next to Freddy.. I don’t even care about his portals, his Shred attack is just crazy.. and faking it to force survivors out of their paths is even crazier. I reached rank 1 with him very easily and I find him a viable killer in the high ranks.

I think a lot of people (particularly streamers) are over-rating him based on what they suspect his potential MIGHT be when played absolutely optimally rather than what they've seen or done with him or what's practical at all really (some are claiming Demo could be better than Huntress or even Billy).
At highest I'd put Demo just below Freddy (Nurse>Spirit>Billy>Hag>Huntress>Freddy is my tier list, for reference)

I put him in B tier right now and predict that he will be A tier once the hotfix comes out.

To me, Nurse is the only killer in S tier. Demo's portals aren't that good and his Shred helps him against certain loops or to catch up to the survivor, but it's still very avoidable.

I would say b- currently, after he breaks pallets with shred I would put him at b+. Either way he’s above hag. A lot of people overestimate hag.

I think people are overrating him
His portals are finicky and difficult to use effectively

they provide information and pressure, granted the they can be kind of clunky but they still perform well. You also have priority if they’re breaking one

they take too much time to set up to really be great I think, on top of having a cooldown to use them

I typically drop 3 or 4 before I start opening them. Drop them at every gen whenever you start, most importantly the closest, pick a direction dropping them along the way. When you reach the en crawl back to your first portal and go the other direction and you can put out a pretty crazy amount of map pressure like that.

High B tier, low A tier.
I like his Shred, even more after the buff.
The portals are nice too, gives a lot of information and once setup also nice map pressure and a way to slow down the game by cleansing it.
I love the hag and may be biased, but I disagree with some others that he is above hag or that she is overrated. She offers a variety of playstyles and options with her add-ons, something I don't see with the Demogorgan.
He's shred helps a lot in chases and the portal are a nice tool too. Looking at you LF...just one chainsaw that slows you down...

I'd drop him in high B tier. He can still be looped around unsafe loops, however he can dominate in long wall safe loops.
