When I verse m1 killers without any essentially good mindgame potential except red stain mindgames,shack is completely unmindgameable,cause as a survivor you can just slow walk react properly and get easy vaults.Do you guys agree?

Shack is mindgamable. If you run them around the window and double back,chances are they jumped the window. If you just walk in a straight line its kinda the killers fault.

No I don't agree. The shack is mind game able, hiding the stain, taking different routes, or reading the survivor's behaviour can all end the shack loop quickly. If you can't catch them there, you're going against a survivor who is definitely better than you.

With demogorgon shack is basically really really dangerous for survivors

with that i agree cause you use his power but while using the red stain only its impossible to get a hit ON GREAT survivors.I myself never get hit at the shack,unless im just too chill and react slower.But yeah demogorgon really helps with shack

im guessing ur talking about vaulting it from outside?I do that and even if you mess up you can vault again unless they triple mindgame you which is unlikely i have only had like 3 killers that did that and even then i could use the pallet.You could be also saying from the other side from the inside,If you take that route then yeah i understand but if you take a longer pathing you have more time to react if the killer is gonna double back so yeah,you need to know the lunge range tho to not overcalculate urself and get hit by a lunge anyway,but i defo see ur point i can get mindgamed there but the thing is you can nearly always adjust urself to run the other side cause you can vault it from the outside

im talking about it as a survivor main.Well i dont completely main survivor but i know i never get mindgamed unless i vault from the side where the pallet is and even then you just need to have a good reaction time to beat that.I can get mindgamed there tho if i get too chill and i mess up cause of it.Only that side is mindgameable imo and its very bad aswell cause if you vault and the killer double backs most of the time you can just vault back

believe me double vaulting can be countered by insta vaulting from the outside from the shack.One thing another person said is changing routes and that kinda makes it mindgameable if you make the survivor vault from the side opposite of lockers,where the pallet is cause that side is alot shorter and alot more unsafe.I dont know if you were tryna give me tips as a killer or as a survivor,but im talking as a survivor cause i never get mindgamed there except if the killer forces me to vault the window in the different way where the pallet is.

i loop the shack,and after some time i just get downed cause i dont throw the pallet.Some time later my teammates insta drop it while they arent even injured.I just wanna kms lmao

While I agree it's mindgameable, it would be vastly better as a tile if you couldn't clearly see through every single wall from both sides.

i dont know why did they even put it like that lmao it was kinda obvious it wasnt gonna work and survivors would find a way to just abuse it but there wasnt looping at that time so it kinda makes sense

that is EXACTLY what counters moonwalks even on the side where lockers are there are still little holes so even if the killer completely hides his red stain you can see him before through holes but you cant vault yet cause he still CAN double back to make you go into alot worse position you need to get the minimum fast vault range to be able to not get mindgamed atleast thats how i see it.And the other side is unfair cause that one literally doesnt have ANY mindgame potential whatsoever.The other one atleast doesnt have completely see through walls lol

Don't have to necessarily mindgame it. You just need the survivor to rotate in a way that takes away the guaranteed fast vault from the inside. This usually forces the pallet down after one loop and renders shack fairly unsafe.

You can see the killer through the cracks on the back end of the shack, if they run the back end and your just M1 killer you won't catch them before they vault or get to the pallet.

I would rather take a down than throwing the god pallet early game. I disagree. M1 killers don't have an advantage, except the Trapper where he can cut off loops. You can just sit and wait until he finally realizes he can't hit you. If a survivor is optimal enough, they won't fall and will predict the red stain, too bad it doesn't happen often though.

I'd definetly make the back walls patched up, so you can't see through'em, but other than that, the shack seems fun and fine to me (and Im a killer main lol)

I'm sorry I have to disagree, the best you can do is make them drop the pallet after 2 loops and in this case you already lost 20+ seconds as the killer in a chase. Now imagine at Rank 1 what that does cost you... May I ask which rank you play at as killer? Thanks.

I personally have no issues with shack. It's pretty fair on both sides and the killer and survivor have equal mind game potential.
A lot of killers have some sort of way to shut it down as well.

Thats what i replied to someone,some killers have powers to shut it down alot better(demogorgon fr example)and some killers dont have any other way except red stain mindgames which are the unmindgameable part im talking about(BTW when i said its unmindgameable i meant against really good survivors,not in a way that the shack is unmindgameable against bad survivors)

LOS is line of sight.In this sentence he tried to say shack has alot of LOS(line of sight blockers) which improves mindgame potential i disagree with it due to the fact there are still cracks in walls and the red stain goes through walls anyway which idk why they havent fixed yet removes alot of mindgame potential

Just to add to you sometimes next to shack there can be debri pallets,jungle gyms etc so you can combine it so you never block off the window or even if you only use the shack window you go to the other tile use that pallet and come back to the shack.IMO even with the window only shack is really good still can waste good time

There are definitely ways to mindgame good survivors at the shack.
The killer needs to have good reads on what the survivor is going to do. If you know they're going to fake the vault from the inside you can force them to medium vault or throw down one of the strongest pallets in the game by doubling back.
It's all about knowing thy opponent.

The shack is a strong loop but good killers can close it quickly using mindgaming. I've been caught many times by good killers at the shack because they moonwalk and screw with my direction. (I'm not a very skilled looper)
It depends on your skill and that of your quarry. If the survivor is better than you he will run circles around you. if you are better you can end the loop pretty quick.
People like to pretend that looping is an easy and mindless skill, but it's not. The more skilled the looper, the harder they are to catch. Ping also plays a good deal into this, which is why a lot of red rank survivors dodge lobbies with anything less than green ping.

If they wait until they can see you, vault after then and then vault back. This will put you inside the shack with them by the door. They'll turn around and run back the other way, but you'll be close enough at this point to make vaulting the window into the shack a medium vault (easy hit for you). Their only option will be to use the shack pallet.

But the thing is you want to catch the survivor and not just get the pallet dropped to start the chase over again :(

yeah,the problem is anyone with enough of a good reaction time aint gonna fall for that.I dont cause its just so common.U fake it,they go outside,they start returning inside and then you fast vault it.ALSO you can easily just NOT get urself in that position by vaulting the shack from the outside which i always thought was a bad decision but one NA survivor(Ussylis) told me how to play it correctly when he figured it out,a few months back in summer.

However good survivors learnt it and the jukes have already started.. So it's pretty much guessing and gambling.. And still you won't hit them(in most ocasions) but only catch up. It's just a way for them to drop the shaq pallet quicker.
