All in all, it’s playable. I haven’t had any fps issues but some animation lag, like pallets and stuff. There are some bugs tho: double hit hatchets, rank resetting and stuff.

Just as buggy as the PC version which surprises me.
The average FPS is terrible, to the point where there is noticeable input latency. I'd say 30 on most maps and 20 on ones with special effects like rain.
I refuse to play killer, I could barely turn corners tightly as survivor. I would probably end up quitting as killer. Haven't had a single one hit me unless I accidentally ran into them.

Holy ######### the Nurse is borderline unplayable. Input lag and stuttering is ridiculous. Perspective is reduced along with depth of field. Definitely not a good release. Along with the tons of lag and bugs I've experienced like super speed Nurse during her fatigue or hook animations being delayed.

Nope, but I've heard and seen enough to know how bad it is.
I would hope that a company as big as Behaviour (lots of revenue with their mobile ventures) would learn their lesson the second time and delay release until the game was in a playable state.
I should not be surprised at this point but it's not.

The game runs better than I thought. A few bugs however :
No matter how many times I pip I stay at level 20 as killer
Grab someone off a Gen and the animation runs as they run away
Huntress hatches all over the place - Im guessing this is due to the dedicated servers issue
Still fun though and worth the purchase to play on the go :)

Yea, I've seen some weird stuff like the desync issue that sometimes effects grabbing survs off gens but other then that and the rank reset thing, it's been extremely fun. Since I don't have access to my computer this is a very good alternative.

On Docked mode the FPS is really low at the chase... around 20fps. On handheld mode it's fine. Graphically it is near to XO.

I don't mind it.
Resolution is downgraded and fps is lower. But so were the PS4 and XBONE versions of the game until a few updates. Devs just need to work on optimization.
Only main issues I have are the ranks resetting upon each start up, we're missing a couple characters, and Ruin is insane on Switch because the skill check framerates are so low.

nah thats just console nurse in general, the input lag is just from your controller and hook animations being delayed is a known bug on console

can agree, I feel like when I run hag I get constant fail notifications but when i run my boy trapper, maybe two or three.

You are more than likely at Rank 20 due to the bug. We should pray for them. Though, praying for Ghostface to prevail is what I do best.

That map's frame rate leaves a lot to be desired on Switch and has very little to hide Mr. Face's flowing tendrils. Prayers cannot reach you there.

Not true at all. I played Nurse on switch then immediately went to PS4 and everything felt and looked so much better

It's buggy, when you are moving in diagnals it slows you down, frame rate is frankly really bad compared to pc or ps4. Demogorgon doesn't shred pallets yet. Like on the ptb the dedicated servers = you getting slapped when you were way ahead of the killer throwing down or vaulting pallets. You also will have the most difficult time ever hitting ruin skill checks.
Other than this. It's not horrible. With more polish it could be half way decent.

So far I feel the diagonal slowdown has been the biggest problem for me. I am a survivor of Dark Souls' Blighttown on PS3 and the N64 so framerate doesn't bother me (as Survivor), not being able to loop properly, gets me downed when I shouldn't have been.
Sadly I can only use wifi and I've been finding connections much better here than on PS4, less hits from down the street. Those Ruin skill checks tho...Played 40 games so far as Survivor and 10 of them were Hags.
Overall, it's definitely playable and still fun but I am eagerly awaiting optimization.

Survivor has been almost instant for me but due to people's names being less...unique I haven't really been noticing if it's the same Survivors. Seen a Hex: name already tho and that brought a smile to my face.

To be fair the Diagonal slow down seems to effect the killer side as well, but it's far more noticeable as a survivor to me. I was around for the original ps4 launch...the game felt very similar to now, maybe not quite as bad, but it certainly wasn't optimized like it is now. I can get used to it, I just have a lot of trouble in chases, as both survivor and killer. Those frames sometimes make it difficult to track a survivor.
Wifi is what most are on using Switch, it's not like it has a dedicated ethernet port on the console. But yeah Hag...matches are horrible, ruin is just way too difficult to hit with the thing skipping while it rotates.
I did have some enjoyable games playing as Demogorgon though.

I only played a few matches as Killer so far, Survivor is just much easier to find games for and play with the frame drops for me, but I messed up multiple times as Demogorgon not realizing he couldn't break pallets at base. Wonder when that will be added, would be nice.
I can't wait to be forced to play Doctor for a daily on Lery's tho, I feel that's one of the worst maps for frame rate so far, it and Hawkins.
