Throw it earlier
Or instead of throwing it down keep running and watch the killer miss the attack
Don't do this more than a couple of times, they will catch on what your doing

You have to learn the timing: When does it make sense to drop the pallet? When does it not make sense because the killer is already too close?
There is no way around practicing more, so you get a better feeling for distance & timing.

Try and throw it sooner and if the killer is a good bit away you could run through it most killers expect survivors to camp the pallet so try and run through it and look for a second one or loop him around that area until you need to throw it down you don't want to throw them down as soon as you get there if you have distance try and loop them

My problem is I’ll get to the pallet and throw it down while the killer is M1 lunging and sometimes he gets stunned and other times he will get the hit then be stunned. But I’m going to try to keep running while they do the hail marry please connect M1 swing and see if that works more consistently.
