Why Insta-Heals are still ignored?
The most powerful and broken survivor add-ons.
SWF's Ace in the Hole if the Killer somehow struggles too well.
ITS COMPLETELY UNFUN TO PLAY AGAINST, REALLY, WHEN YOU KEEP PRESSURE, DEFEND LAST GENS, YOU ARE FORCED TO SLUG BCS THE GEN IS NEARLY DONE, AND THIS GOOD ADD-ON COMPLETELY RUINS ALL YOUR GAME.
pls, nerf insta-heals like Legion was nerfed.
UPD: By the way, moris also must be nerfed, it will be ok if they will useable only after 2 hooks (if someone sabotage your hooks or you found DS survivor)

I had Leatherface with Insidious, Mad Grit, Iron Grasp and Agitation with insta charge add ons, I never had a problem with sweaty insta heals.

It's meme build, I don't usually run this ///

Why are moris, prayer beads, iridescent head huntress still ignored?
27 -
¿Por que no los dos?
(Why not both?)
2 -
These things also must be nerfed (except maybe Prayer Beads, it can be countered very easily)
1 -
Keep them but change insta to heal over time.
By the way, remove moris or make them only available after 2nd hook.
4 -
Mori is (badword), which helps to eliminate one survivors too fast.
I really want Moris after 2 hooks, it will still greatly help to not waste time to hook or someone sabotaging your stuff.
2 -
I'm okay with them being 2nd hook if you bake them into the bloodpoint add-ons. Because just having them be 2nd hook as separate add-ons would make them completely useless.

For the same reason why ebony moris are ignored, the core issue of gens getting ignored, the issue of a huge gap between solo and swf getting ignored, QoL changes for struggling and wiggling getting ignored.... DLCs. Devs dont care. They just push DLCs to milk as much as possible out of dbd. They only become active and change stuff when the whole community goes nuts and complains a lot (see MoM, community was outraging and they changed it immediately. Not because of MoM itself bit also the whole other issues and bugs at the time)

EBony and Ivory Mori's also too unfun things. They also need to be nerfed.
0 -
I would say within 3-4 minutes of being unhooked you can be mori'd, and insta-heals just increase healing speed ALOT
0 -
I don't have an issue with them.
If you hate them so much, use Franklin's or Doctor.
6 -
How is prayer beads countered easily? The only counter is spine chill.
You can still increase to 3 with addons so what is your point? Just because it was nerfed once doesn't mean it's balanced right now.

I don't want to have to run a certain killer every game to deny an insta-heal, or item use.
Rank 1s are mostly insta-heal heaven.
0 -
Isn't Plague fun? Love eating those instaheals :P IF they were gonna be 'nerfed', I'd suggest them just allowing healing speed to go over 100% - reduce it to a 3 second thing to fully heal, 1.5 seconds to heal a state.
Iridescent Heads hasn't ever been reduced to one: it's reduced to however many times Huntress gets to a locker. Cowards tunneling off the hook for moris? Maybe if there were an actual requirement, like them being on death hook, those sweaty killers might develop some actual skill. Prayer Beads needn't be nerfed, but they're the wrong rarity for their effect.
Honestly? It'd be nice seeing devs behave in a way that doesn't make it so radically clear they're rank 18 survivor mains - if they don't play the game, they're not gonna actually know what's in the game since they barely take outside input.

Yeah, Insta-heal are pretty boring to face, but let's be real, 50% of people who insta-heal still die at the end because they weren't that good. Otherwise, I still agree they deserve some sort of nerf, especially the syringe.
The only time I don't have a problem with insta-Heal, is when I see the survivor find one in chest with plunders and Ace in the Hole.. Which is something I rarely see anyways!
0 -
For me the problem isn't the strength, it's that it's not fun to play against.
You say the syringe is the one that should be the priority for change. Personally I think the syringe add-on would be fine if it worked only on other survivors, because that actually creates interesting gameplay. Self-instahealing does not create interesting gameplay and should be removed for that reason.
1 -
Insta's should be a lot like second wind, they can heal you over time rather than all at once. OR They could be a lot like BNP where you face a barrage of skill checks until you complete the health state.
0 -
I prefer the Second Wind approach, personally.
0 -
Insta heals and adreneline, to moris and NOED - seems only fair.
2 -
Instaheals? INSTAHEALS?! Dude, KEYS are still in the game and not a word is being uttered.
1 -
Iri huntresd got bodied she carries 1 without the belt to make it 3 what more do you want?
0 -
We can nerf Instaheals when instadowns and instakills are nerfed.
5 -
Some instadowns are fine like killer powers and make your choice. Things like iri head need to go though. Mori needs nerfed too. If I had to choose between keys or instaheals I would choose keys being nerfed.
0 -
She shouldn't be able to carry more than one
0 -
They did nerf Mori, it requires a hook now :)
2 -
Why is it "interesting gameplay" if you down somebody and during your wipe-off animation another survivor gives the downed person a syringe?
1 -
Insta heals are totally fine. As a killer main, if I start seeing a bunch of medkits I just put on frankies or swap over to Billy. No chance to instaheal if they're insta ded. Lol. And if someone else burns their heal on a downed survivor then its a quick boop to drop em. OR, if two instas are burned for a single down, even better.
Ive actually had that where I got the down on a Nea, some Dwight runs up and instas. Nea vaults and instas herself. Now shes full health again. I come through window, saw her down almost immediately. Back to exactly where we were at 15 sec ago but 2 insta heals down. I win.
Instas aren't an issue. If you feel they are then you're doing something wrong. Try running Franklins or work on ending your chases faster/watching for kits in lobby and making a smarter killer choice to counter it.
0 -
What if I don't want to play Billy because I don't particularly enjoy him, and I don't have Franklin's? Am I just screwed?
0 -
What killers do you enjoy playing / play often? And what killers teachables do you have available? If you give me some insight maybe I can help? Without knowing I was just giving some general advice
0 -
Pig. Go for it.
0 -
Let's just get rid of every tool that is deemed powerful for survivors... let the survivor playerbase decline and watch these killers wait 5 hours for a match.
0 -
*Laughs in Franklin's Demise
0 -
We can nerf moris too, if you like. Those are also problematic.
0 -
Well, with Pig are you able to down people or are you having them insta after first hit and get away? If scenario 2 is a thing then maybe work on tracking. I find when I play Pig I can get that first hit easily enough. If they burn their insta at that point I just laugh and chase em down again. If they're doing a good job of looping or whateven after like 30 sec, drop chase and stealth up to go for another person and ideally another free hit. Instas are finite in a match. Your ability to stealth up with Pig isn't. Really shouldn't be having issues so long as you juggle the survivors and keep em on their toes and just keep injuring.
0 -
@TAG I don't find them problematic.
Boring? Yes. Problematic? I don't think so.
0 -
I'm having a teammate use an Anti-Hemorrhagic Syringe on them after they've been downed.
0 -
Did you leave them slugged or were you literally right there. Cause unless whoever is healibg is a god body blocker you should be able to have your M1 off cd by the time an insta goes through to just redown. Ive kind of had this and Ive found a quick crouch and ambush can thread the needle past a blocker the secure the down again too. The ambush range is really solid with Pig
0 -
They heal up as soon as I down them, and then they are on the move before I can land another hit.
0 -
Hmm. Still, this can only really happen... *potentially* 7? Times in a game? Thats everyone with instas and god rng getting instas from chests, right? I'd almost just go drop the dude that burned his insta to get the guy on the ground back up. Just to show him whats what. I honestly haven't even seen this happen more than 3-4 times over hundreds of games tho. Playing at purp ranks. Is it really happening to you /that/ often that its an issue?
0 -
It doesn't matter who I go after at that point because in the end, an entire chase has been wasted (regardless of whether it's long or short).
Just yesterday, I had this happen twice in one game.
0 -
Make Coulorphobia block Insta-Heals when active. Bam, now it's a potentially useful perk.
0 -
Haha, or not even block but just reduce the heal by whatever it is 30%. So they burn their insta but they didnt actually full heal the dude. Only 70%. Then theyre standing there with their thumbs in their ass
0 -
I think his point is about the frustration from the lost momentum.
0 -
If there's one thing people have been very quick to point out, it's that using perks as band-aids to fix balance problems isn't really a good solution.
0 -
Nobody likes prayer beads thats at the top of the nerf list if they actually nerf these
0 -
Yeah, your point about the perk bandaids is valid however I feel as though its sort of by design. Devs want us to buy DLC to get whatever perks to curb game issues. @SpaceCoconut talks about it quite a bit and I tend to agree.
I also don't really feel like instas are quite as big of a deal as you make it out to be. DS tends to piss me off a lot more haha. If instas drag a chase out another few seconds then its just more points? I guess? Haha.
0 -
If they become second hook killers will just tunnel the survivor and then mori it won't fix it. Itll just make killers who want to mori to tunnel hard and it'd be even less fun
0 -
Insta-Heals have always been strong but here’s the thing. It wasn’t so commonly used until Healing got nerfed. A lot of players feel like it’s a waste of time trying to heal yourself nowadays because it takes 32 seconds just to heal yourself. That’s a lot of time you could be working on Generators. So If they were to nerf insta heals in some way or remove them they’d need to buff base healing speed because that’s the main reason why they’re being used so much. I myself don’t run insta heals often because Inner Strength is a nice alternative for Self Care. Which saves a lot of time.

Wanna know why..... QOL of OP items are ignored.. devs are worried about making more killers and survivors add on to help the other op stuff. :) doing a great job so far
