Iron will against Spirit
Why do every time I play against my Spirit, my iron will isn't working ? It's happening to my friends too so I'm sure it's not only a bug for me.
Every game I play it works but when it's a Spirit it doesn't, that's like the worst killer with the Nurse to face without it, I would like to know why this happens.

Is The Spirit using Stridor? A lot of Spirit players use Stridor, which counters Iron Will.

Are you sure they aren't using Stridor? If you bring Iron Will and still hear your own pained cries when injured, it's a dead giveaway that the killer is running Stridor. I don't run it with Spirit, but I've seen a lot of killer players who do.

I never check but I'm pretty sure that there's at least one guy not using it that I have already faced since she used to be the only killer with Nurse that I would play against.
And I didn't know that this changed the volume from 0 to normal/50% when you have it level 3, thanks for the info.

Wait... Spirits use Stridor?
Damn... maybe that would've helped during the start when I was P3-50ing her.

It's not entirely unusual for me to see a Spirit player running Stridor (I run Iron Will 100% of the time, so it always stands out when someone brings Stridor).

When I mean it doesn't work it's because I still make noises while injured.

I didn't think Stridor was useful because I never had the hardest time getting the phases down... And Iron Will never really bothered me either.

I am in the same boat as you. I also feel like getting used to using/relying on Stridor would broadly turn it into an AWFUL crutch to rely on when playing killer.

Environmental clues are what separate a good and bad Spirit. Anyone with a headset can play her pretty well it's the other clues that makes her exceptionally good.

That too, crutching on a perk too much really does have negative effects on you in the end result.
Well she is Top-Tier after all... Or she can be, its debatable if she is Top-Tier or not, but I think she is with Billy and Nurse.

How do you know it doesn't work? Can you hear yourself when you're injured?

I would definitely call Spirit top tier. What I would have a hard time arguing is whether Billy is better or Spirit.

I think she's closer to Nurse than Billy. Oddly enough I consider Hag and Huntress better then Billy as well.
Billy is boring to play against. I have 3 killers in this game I find boring to play with or against.

Billy has better mobility on a technical level she is better at chases if they are good

There’s really no question. Spirit is infinitely better than Billy. She is basically the Nurse with collision and a cooldown. Her power is insanely strong in a chase and as long as she can hear she won’t lose you. Spirit has decent map pressure as well. She is just insanely strong in a chase. Chases can last less than 20 seconds if she’s good
You can’t really argue that Billy is better. I’d even argue Hag is better than Billy.
Billy can be looped Spirit cannot.

The only reason I'd argue is because Billy doesn't have a cooldown and can instadown. Spirit can but only with perks.
