Playing survivor is impossible because nearly every killer wants to farm.
And playing killer is impossible aswell because a lot of players switched to killer so they can farm.
I hate double bp because of this Community. Just play normally ffs, you aren't going to get x100 more BP by farming. It's boring af, it's not a point simulator.

There is some people who wait for this, because these are times when they can get several more bloodpoints than usual and a lot of them doesn't have enough time to play dbd and just for one prestige it takes severak hours with normal bloodpoint gaining

An event like this will often bring out extremes in players: those who want to farm so they can get points, and those who just want to make sure they deny the other side getting points. It's to be expected. At least the ones farming are demonstrating empathy and a willingness to treat the opposing side as teammates.
These events are rare and short; it'll be back to normal soon enough.

Played about 15-16 games, zero farmers.

I promise that if I run into you, I will absolutely not farm, and kill you without hesitation. (Generally, the only time I indicate that I'm open to farming is if multiple survivors disconnect, I feel really bad for their teammates when that happens.)
I've earned 206,000 BP from just two killer games so far today. It's been good!

I haven't found a farmer in any of my games today. Mostly killers trying extremely hard with moris. Red ranks though.

I played agaisnt a 4 swf. All offered up cakes. Within the first minute i realized they wanted to farm. I went along with it. End game i recieved nearly 100k BPs. I think it was worth while.
While these events bring out worst in people you also have alot of goodness going around. Some people wont use Moris (me) or some survivors wont use their nice new toys from the x2 BPs.
Then there's always the opposite of the spectrum which as someone stated, want to deny as much as possivle to the opposite side.
To me i see this as the ingame holiday season everytime it comes around. You have your saints and your scrooges. For me the worst time is after the events. Where everyones back to the usual slaughter fest (both sides) and the ones like myself have an abundance of moris waiting to be used up... Just how it tends to go

What games are you in?! I have come across 1 farmer so far, all the rest has been the usual apart from the really sweaty killer now and then.
Also, don't tell people how to play the game.

It's so weird to me that killer players bring out moris during these events. I ALWAYS run party streamers or pudding as killer, I've been stocking up!

I can't believe there are people who get annoyed by this. So fix the gens and leave. Who doesn't want to level up? If I can get 200k out of a match I will surely agree to farm.

I don't farm during Blood Hunts. I do, however, make an earnest endeavor not to tunnel anyone. I'm not ordinarily a tunneler, but during BHs I try not to hook the same person twice in a row.
I do get a lot of choice insults when the Survivors who want to farm find out I'm playing for real though. :D

On events like this i break out the BP perks on killer, get some pudding and play unless the survivors wanna farm.
On survivor get wglf well make it and do my best to not die.

I love the idea of someone talking ######### in the after game chat without realizing they're one of the people that actually makes the game they're playing. I get funny visions of a random "You have been banned for 72 hours - Yours truly, that Dev you talked ######### about the other day :) "

Double bp is most unfun crap being force to play survivor because que as killer have gone through the roof is annoying (killer main) and survivors just plan boring (my opinion) i prefer killer but cant play due to the event also few game i did as survivor are sooo bs its unreal every match killer has tunnel either me or teammate.

I would rather take toxic killers than farmers because then I would have actual chases which is the only real fun for me as survivor.

Nah. I'mma keep farming. If survivors don't wanna then I'll kill em. I'm only interested in maxing out a couple killers right now anyways. After the event things will go back to normal but during events I try to be nice and let everyone get what they need.

It's only for 4 days. Go play something else if it upsets you so much, or beg the devs to actually reduce the grind so people don't want to farm so much.

Yep this. + with farming you will never reach 32k bp but with playing Normally you can reach max bp

I'd rather farm than get a 4k with only 20K bp earned. If you got more points based off your rank (aka rank rewards) then maybe less people would farm

It's easy for killers to get BP, much harder for survivors. Killers who let survivors escape during this event are doing it to share the pool of blood points. Even if I don't sacrifice any survivors I can usually earn more points than all of them.
The way I do it is I play normally but I just don't hang a survivor the third time. I just leave them on the ground. I only do this if survivors bring something to the table. If we got 3 or 4 BPS in the pot I'm going to make sure everyone gets a good share of that.
If you want try hard killers my suggestion would be to not bring anything. If you don't bring any BPS the killer is less likely to feel inclined to share.

I've been using my streamers to give survivors more points though a lot of them have died from the egc timer bug.

So much drama for a 3 days event. Just stop playing if this bothers you so much and reopen the game in 3 days. You have other 362 days a year to play normally.

Lol just use deliverance. I've been playing survivor since the stranger things chapter came out and yea I've been faced camped but that perk got me out of that situation and if you really want to put the hurt on the killer put on the perk that breaks the hook after being unhooked and deceive strike. It's funny watching the killers just shut down after that/ just straight up turn the game off.

Farming is a sort of grey area. If everyone in the match agrees to it, so what? It's not like they're affecting other people but themselves.

I don't mind farming some if my 4 neighbors want to go gardening but if one person says they don't wish to toil the soil then Ill get be glad to oblige them because the neighbors working the field; they will unhook the scarecrows soon as I put them up. But you have to make your gardening look good while having it seem others are doing all the work or you will get a ticket from the city council because some whiney neighbor. Either way, my garden always ends up pretty full.

Ahm... What I've been doing is playing a normal game and as soon as I kill the 3rd player I farm with the 4th, is this ok? Opinions?

No, working with the killer means doing things to give away the position of other survivors, or screw survivors over in the chase intentionally. It doesn't mean farming. Report if you like, but it won't do anything.

If you don't want to farm just do gens and leave.
I've had maybe 1 out of 6 games where someone has wanted to farm while I'm survivor. I prefer that to black ward or moris.
As killer I message beforehand. So far out of my 8 killer games. I've only had 1 farm. Not super prevalent or anything to complain about.
