Oblivious???
So now Fredy mains can camp the hook because of your new machanic devs (we cannot use borrowed while we are oblivious). Next thing we know borrowed time will be a perk that can get you banned if you use it. You didnt think about this in depth, but thank you for the painful memories guys, we can count on you and on the scummy killers to ruin our day <3

The part where I said to not unhook in front of him is because of that very reason sorry that you don’t like my feedback

And after the ds is turned into ashes by a tunneler what? What do we do? We just sit there being useless while our friends die on the hook? I dont know about you guys but I dont like the hatch playstyle very much <3

The counter for camping has always been to do gens. This doesn't affect that the slightest bit. It might in fact even make it better as now you won't be affected by perks like Unnerving Presence (in case the hook is near the generator).

Thanks dude, i will try to do gens and that will solve the camping problem, great advice <3, And after those 120 seconds on the hook expire what will happen to the next survivor who gets hooked? We still do gens while the benevolent emblem is on 0? In the current state of the game if you only do gens all the time and you get even 4 gens and after escape the game without getting boldness or benevolent points you will derank (last 5 games when I did that I depipped) Lovely

Just do gens you numbskull. We don’t need your crutch ass survivor perk buffed even more cause you don’t get ignoring the camper and just doing gens.

I know. Still. It's the only thing you can do and should. Removing oblivious from Freddy won't change that against him or other killers.

That's a pretty good advice i am gonna admit it, but what happens when you play with randoms? Some of them come to block, some simply don't. And dont forget about the NOED, if you are pressed by time (let's say you only have 20 more seconds to save or even less and NOED is still active). You can try to save your friend (or the random), even succeding in doing so, but because you are oblivious your borrowed time doesnt apply and both you and your friend (or random) go down. In the previous patch that would not happen (you could sacrifice yourself to save someone else but now you cant). This mechanic leads to a very selfless playstyle and it is not healthy for the game. Tell me what do you think about that.

Thank mr killer main, we appreciate your contribution for a healthier playstyle to the game <3 but again what if (in my survivor stupidity) I want to save another survivor from the hook and I am affected by oblivious status effect? Should I watch the "skillful" killer doing a bbq with the hooked survivor? Be serious now, I play killer as well (less than I did in the past because the waiting time for a lobby as killer is literally "perfect" right now), and a perk that cannot work as it should work (anti-camping perk) doesnt do that, well they might as well just remove it (this is not the only one scenario, for example Buba's BBQ party with survivors on the hook, just wrap that fokin' chanisaw and wait) <3 Lovely At least give him a terror radius if he is in a 5m range from you....

Just wake up. If you can rescue the survivor before you get hit and he's camping, you can get borrowed time off. And I know what your gonna say "the deep wound timer still goes down whilst being chased!"

This perk is doing what it was supposed to originally do, make you live on borrowed time. It's called borrowed time for a reason, not "borrowed free health state". This perk has had enough unintentional buffs after the Legion DLC released. There is ghostface, myers, pig, wraith who can ignore borrowed time now, but don't complain about freddy out of all things, he's been left in the dust for 2 years or so.

It’s still one of the most useful perks in the game, even if it won’t help you in this scenario or the ones you mentioned. And once, again, you don’t need it to work in this scenario, cause you can just ignore the Freddy.
Your whole argument is that the perk that lets you get safe unhooks doesn’t do it properly in one specific scenario, when you don’t even need it to. Just don’t go for the unhook. It’s not hard.

Sometimes theres going to be that sacraficial lamb... especially in end game... ya cant always make the save.... but when going against a camping freddy (which players know that if the killer is camping "dont feed the lazy killer") itll take more team work to pull saves off... keep in mind the players timer will continue to tick down if they get smacked ----> this is how BT worked originally so it's not that big a deal..

Ok now, this is the last comment I post on this topic (some of the arguments were good, the other not so strong, but that is not important here). I want you to take a moment and think how FUN is for a person to be left on a hook from second 1 to second 120. I think most of the people here know the feeling. It is not a pleasant one and it should not happen but it is happening and WE CAN do something about that if we have borrowed time. If a person gets hooked and camped when the exit gates are powered up and you save them with borrowed time they still havea chance to live, with oblivious they simply.... can't. I guess that's it the sacrificial lamb. But it is not fun at all, and it is a game, it should be at least balanced if not fun...

But also if the camper is atleast a little smart he will hit the unhooker 2 times anyways >.>
