I just played two straight games with killers who DC right before the game ends.
And before that, played a few doing the same earlier today. What is up with that? I don't get it. Like, before the last survivor gets sacrificed or gets out the exit gate they DC or crash their game or pull the plug. What exactly are they trying to accomplish?
You can see in the endgame results the last survivor is still alive.
It seems to be a new trend.
The really funny one though was this one Doctor who DC'd the moment he killed me. There were still like 2 survivors left alive, the moment I got sacrificed on the hook he DC'd. Huh?
Have I become so infamous that I've been targeted by killers for assassination?

Were any them running dying light, it may have crashed their games if they haven't patched it yet.

Well as you can see no Dying Light on the Wraith above. The one prior to this game didn't either.
The Doctor that DC'd when I died didn't either.

Pretty sure it's a bug. I've had several games tonight where I was disconnected from host as soon as I died or escaped even when the killer had no reason to leave.

That sounds about right. Hmm perhaps I should put in a bug report.
I mean, I can't imagine there's suddenly a conspiracy of killers looking to DC right before they win.

Unless this was a really hardcore killer-hating survivor main who was stuck with a killer daily?
Mrs JawsIsTheNextKiller lets the survivors go when she plays killer because she is a survivor sympathizer.

It's one thing to let the survivors go. It's another to DC right before you do it.
I've played tons of killers who show mercy and let the survivors go after they've won the game. That's normal.
DCing right before you win, that's not normal.

Yeah I also thinking it's a bug. I already put in a bug report so let's let BHVR handle it. Problem is I have no idea how to recreate the bug.

That's what I thought at first, but the timing is uncanny. The DC happens at the exact same time when it happens. The precision is not likely from humans who are deranking. So it probably is a bug that DCs me from the game or something.

Sounds like some sort of actual disconnect/crash. Either that or someone "good guy" deranking by playing most of the match that has truly mastered the art of the perfectly timed DC.

This.
Lots of deranking out there right now. Played survivor with my wife last night. Rank 5 killer with Billy. All he did was race around the map, never even kicked a gen. He DCd as we ran out. Had 2 killers act similar to this. They were clearly not putting effort forth. One sat afk in the corner of the basement with Wraith. I saw him there when getting the chest for my daily.

Something else that is happening on Ps4 is that the game will actually end and it will show the killer dced even if they didn't. Survivors don't always get their points either.
I keep getting messages asking why I dced when I didn't.

I saw that happen to a killer yesterday. It might be a coincidence, but it looked like the DC happened just as the last survivor escaped. It was very strange as the killer had enough hooks to get a decent amount of points (but no kills).
I hope this isn't a bug that takes the killers points away over the double bloodpoints weekend.

Yes this has happened to me on PS4 a few times. The last two it looked like the killer DC after everyone got out.
2 -
Glad to hear of others experiencing it. Hopefully it gets fixed soon as it's unfair on the survivors who aren't getting their points.

What I'm experiencing is similar, but you clearly get the Killer DC message and the game results is as in the picture.

I’ve noticed a huge increase of this as well. I honestly think it might be a bug as most killers had no reason to leave.

Playing survivor, I see that happen at the end of every match on PS4. It's constant. It means you don't get XP if your the last to escape you don't get my 5K escape points. So frustrating as I've now missed out on 50k+ bloodpoints because of this bug. Pay attention to your bloodpoints after the killer DC's. Not sure if it affects other categories. It's a killer glitch to keep survivors from getting the full amount of bloodpoints they're suppose to get. But you can sometimes counter this if all 4 survivors leave at the same time.

Also it happens at random times sometimes before the game ends sometimes right after the last person's dies. If they time it just right they don't loose any of their points or rank but we still suffer the point penalty. Sometimes its shows their full score and points and sometimes it shows 0 points for them either way we get point penalties.

Its just a visual bug. A survivor asked why i dced at the end of the game and sent a screenshot. I told them i didnt and sent my own screenshot with me having all my bp

I've stated before not all might DC on purpose but there were a few that were inconsistent DC's and weird so I asked the killer and they openly admitted to it. It depends of the timing of the DC sometimes it'll show killer has full points sometimes 0. Either way survivor still is punish with missing point and down rank. At the beginning the DC's were occasionally now there every game. Again not saying its every killer but some have admitted to it to screw over survivor same as some survivors don't killers. @yandere777
