Double Bloodpoints Event

Its funny how since this double Bloodpoints event has started that there has not been any mercy shown by me as a killer, and when I play as a surv cuz the matchmaking as killer sucks at the moment, I've notice alot more campers and no mercy shown😂

The reason I find this funny is cuz I would usually let atleast one person go if no one dc, but all I've been doing is grinding day and night before this ends,

So this question is for the killers. Since the event started have u shown any mercy?

And this one is for the survs. Have y'all had the same problem as me with the increase of campers?

As killer i showed survivors mercy.

My routine is:2 hook all survivors then do some chase with them destroying the pallets and stuff and when they finish gens i open gates for them.

I'm sorry to hear you got camped and mercilessly killed to death.😪

I mostly let everybody go after double hooking, this is if I am winning.

I'll kill only two baggers or heavy loppers.

I'll play normally until its time to kill them, at that point I'll just slug and move to the next target to maximise my BP.

After a while survivors will understand you don't want to kill them and everyone scores more than 25k.

So maybe you looped or the bagged or flashlight spam?

I tend to let people go, if I kill someone then only when everyone has already been hooked twice and then they usually already got a ton of bloodpoints. I don't play farming games though, too boring.

First, I don't need that many bloodpoints anymore. I'm not a big fan of licensed stuff. There hasn't been anything new of interest for me since the Plague DLC. I have maxed out all characters on P3 by now, so no idea what to spend bloodpoints on. I got me Nancy purely for her perks and I'm now leveling her to P3 just because I need some bloodpoint sink.

Second, BBQ more than makes up for the points you miss by not sacrificing them. Survivors on the other hand have no reliable bonus bloodpoint perk. I get 4 stacks on BBQ in like 99/100 games, not just that WGLF is far less common than BBQ, I can't imagine survivors getting full stacks on it as regularly as killers on BBQ, so I let them have the escape points.

As Killer.... I have never had so many sweaty teams in my games as during this Blood Hunt. It was crazy. Rapid fire gens going off and people just looping for days with toolboxes and insta heals pouring from the heavens.

Simple at the start of the match I message "Farm or regular game?"

If they want to go for points then we shall, if they want a regular game then we shall, if they don't respond then I assume its a regular game.

Of my only 20-ish matches so far most seem to want to farm (don't blame them) and the rest brought insta-heals and full meta builds. I always bring in Doc for the farm responses or prep for an all out tryhard match with no response/normal game.

I'd rather every game was just normal but I show mercy by offering the choice up front.

Once the Blood Hunt ends I go back to my gimmick builds and just casual tomfoolery.

Can't even get into a match without long ass wait, so it's ironic how I don't play during an event that's supposed to promote it.

Bloodhunt is the only time i show mercy. No moris in any of my games. If someone DCs i dont just auto stomp the rest of team. Ive carried an unknown number of people to hatches. For me its the equivalent of holiday season in game.

But i know alot of people do the conplete opposite on both sides.

Just campers....ah the campers. Can they atleast bring some food or a guitar so we can sing some campfire songs. All they do is stare at me or stand next to me. I bring a med-kit incase someone gets hurt or a flash light to tell scary stories and this happens. I even bring a large cake for eveyone to share.

Lol same thing happens to me as a surv, and as killer besides my last game where we all just farmed I've been merciless

The few killer matches I played, I showed mercy as long as the survivors didn't bring in a bunch of toolboxes and rush through gens. Then I started getting desperate for points, they start dying unintentionally, and once one dies I might as well sacrifice the rest, otherwise I'm showing favoritism.

This is my first bloodhunt ever, and being rank 8 I don't get very many oh hey do u just wanna farm? I would love too and then let y'all all live but no only get gen rushing

Rofl, in one match I had a group pop into lobby, over a slow period of time and 3/4 brought Toolboxes...so I equipped Franklin's because a 10min+wait time + lobby & loading times...and y'all wanna bring that crap in? (Turned out 2 were purple and one yellow) Well, the Prestige Nea DC'd soon as they realized what had happened after I smacked her....was the most satisfying thing ever.

I only show mercy in some cases, if a bunch of people DC, or if someone farmed another I'll slug and run after the otget person and MAYBE I'll farm and/or let the last Survivor go...pending they didn't teabag and if I've gotten enough points....not a guaranteed thing...but I'm a but more merciful than most Killer players.

I always use a farming build, so unless they rush through gens, I don't need to kill them to walk away with a crapton of Bloodpoints. By milking them, I can max out three of the four categories and still let them get their escape BP. But if they rush through gens, then they're taking BP away from me, and I stop being nice. Play with me or die. Seems fair.

Whatever it takes to get my Huntress with Shadowborn, Pop/Nurse's, Ruin and Barbecue. If it goes so badly that gens pop too fast, I'll camp one guy because I wouldn't be getting much if I didn't kill one and let the rest go.

Yeh, if people play a bit less sweaty or at least attempt to farm, I can be chill as Hell Frozen Over...but often people are uninitiated to that or jus don't care....I run my usual Builds to combat the serious matches, which this Blood Hunt was 100% of em. Since people didn't bring Streamers or Gateaus this event...I won't try to farm or play nice till the end, otherwise groups will jus rush thru the match and we all get less Points. So, gotta roll up mah Momma sleeves and give em a what for, unless it's indicated early on otherwise OR things go super sour.

I do like messing with peeps tho, initially missing hits or "losing chase". I even scared/ accidentally forced a poor Jane I was chasing (at full health) into a locker as she tried to Head On me xD" Uhh, whooops!" Was trying to jus smack her then move on.

The vast majority of my matches were just farming and trolling. Whether I was survivor or killer, we farmed and played around and got soooooooo much BP. I killed the uninitiated ones that wanted to flashlight and teabag and didn't understand what farming was, but for the most part the survivors had fun with me and we all profited.

And no I didn't kill people for jokingly teabagging. I can spot the difference lol

In this Blood Hound i discovered my true-killing-self. Survivors have no mercy ("oh, ill let him down me cause two gens were done while he was chasing me"), as much as killers must not have it.

A survivor will get 2 or 4k BP game? Whatever, also i did sometimes against looping geniouses.

Just go on to the next match.

And more: having no mercy is a shield against carrying about tbag on gates and survivors so commom toxicity. Your mindset changes all game experience.

The point is: the more they whine and complain, so i should keep doing whatever im doing cause its working in my benefict.

    ...

That sad... once yesterday i let one crawl to the exit gate. And if the last survivor doest wiggle and the hatch is open, ill take him to the hatch... probably.

PS: i dont camp neither tunnel, cause are very lame tatics.

Farming matches are boring, so I usually don't straight up farm unless there are disconnects. I go for my BBQ 4-stack and then just milk them for points. If one is playing too stealthy and not being helpful to their team, then I'll carry them over to a gen and smack it a few times, but otherwise I try to give them a bit of a challenge. Some pay attention enough to figure out what I'm doing. Over time, I developed a system: slug, but not so much as to be mean, and always have at least two survivors on their feet. The system works out pretty well at slowing the match enough to let me earn max BP.

I farmed for the first 2 days, now I’ve been playing seriously with some occasional farming.

I played dying light plague as usual and aimed for a 4k with no camping/tunneling and that gave me +25k each game, but yesterday i got 3-4 lobbies with at least 2 flashlights and for that i played ebony freddy with franklin's demise and i didn't care about bp in those matches. And after the match i looked on what perks were used and guess what, none had any farming build just sb, ds, head on dh and a few variations. So yeah 10/10 toxic community.

I want Franklin's so badly in my killers, and I hate when the matchmaking and lobby takes forever and they bring in toolboxes and technician

Haha nice 👌 and yeah I've only ran into one match where they texted me asking if I wanted to farm and that's what we did all game and I let them go in the end I even opened the gates and found the hatch for them
