Pennywise won't be in the next chapter, here's why (my guess)
Of course it is true that there are many clues that pennywise would be a killer on dbd. but it will not be in the next chapter (chapter 14).
I think he would be in chapter 15 because if you look in the YEAR 4 ROADMAP ... don't you want the pennywise chapter to come with the map of Derry's sewers?

Although I'm quite ambivalent about Pennywise as a killer -- he does nothing for me personally but a lot of people do seem to like him -- I would welcome him aboard without reservation if we got a sewer map out of it.

I doubt they'd have a trailer for chapter 15 already

I haven't seen IT but if I was a clown I would just spam balloons everywhere and when you go near them they explode and give you weird hallucinations and make you hear a harmonica playing really frantically until you snap out of it.
I think a neat idea going against Pennywise as a Survivor in regards to my idea would be to go into a locker to find some darts that you can throw towards the balloons to pop them. I feel like my idea is one of the bad ones because I haven't put any thought into it, but it shows what else can be done for a clown killer.

I mean a lot of people were like "Can you not add Stranger Things, it's dumb and doesn't work" yet it's helped the game and it must have put dbd on people's maps.
I feel like it'll have the same effect on Pennywise. People will be like "omfg they've got Pennywise now" it will make the list of killers more complete in terms of iconic horror characters.
We've got Chucky, Xenomorph, Pinheadface and Pennywise as the stand out exclusions in dbd. Jason is a little farfetched due to the legal battles going on.
If you don't like it, people who like IT will likely want to experience dbd for a while and may become as passionate about the game as many of you are.

I mean the Queen's gotta eat. McCote needs his spinning chair. Licences make money and attract more players. Original chapters will come it's just a matter of when they want to place them. Original chapters are hit and miss, some do really well like Huntress and some frustrate the player see like Legion.
For example Leatherface mains adore leatherface they find him a true horror icon, I don't think they would be so excited if it was an original leatherface killer idea.

Second one was just as good if not better than the first. There was just a lot of exposition because, ya know, EVERY character got a solo/flashback scene.
It wasnt boring. It matched the pace of the the book and story. It just wasnt "an avengers level threat" 3 hours of super fights and explosions.

Demo isnt a slasher, it's a mindless creature controlled by some 80s sci fi monster.
Both points are useless in the logic of pennywise being added.

Based on the accidental notification, it seems that we might just get Pennywise as a single release Chapter/Paragraph. I feel like the notification would have said something like "The IT Chapter" if we were getting a full map and a new survivor, but instead it just "The Pennywise" like how Ghostface's Chapter was called "The Ghostface".

The demo isn’t a slasher but its still a creature that murders people and works for another entity doing its work while IT is another entity living in a sewer eating kids just because he seems scary doesn’t mean he belongs in the game. Freddy is also different from IT because he needs people to fall asleep and you need sleep or you will die they literally beat IT by just being like I’m not scared anymore and your not real.

The way you phrased the first half tells me you dont actually understand IT, so I'm not even going to try and debate semantics with you.
Freddy needed people to fear him to be able to fall asleep. The fact that it's a remake doesnt change the horror icons roots.
Were done here. Pennywise fits more than demo. And that's a simple fact based on the nature of the game and BOTH IPs.

Freddy is different in the Remake to the original, in the remake he was killed via his neck being slit in the real world then but after his body was burned
Freddy was "killed" by fire in the original, and really never died

I rather have pennywise in this game more than original killers pennywise deserves to be in a horror game since he doesn’t have any games about him And plus it chapter two comes out in dvd in mostly December so it would make sense to add him to promote the movie going onto dvd and Blu-ray

We got three teleport Killers now, with the Reworked Freddy and Demo coming out literally back to back. We don't need another one just yet.
