Is Spirit Op?

Interested to what the community thinks of Spirit, I hear a lot that she's over powered but others say she has a lot of counter-play. What's your opinion, is she over-powered, balanced or even under powered?

Balanced with the caveat that prayer beads is OP.

Her power is balanced, her add-ons cause issues and make her OP.

With prayer beads and nurse's call, she's overpowering.

I like these ideas, prayer beads should just be removed or reworked to make it more fun to play on the survivor side. RIP gen-grabber Spirit tho.

Not OP, just super unfun to play against. Which is unfortunately a consequence of the nature of her power, not its relative strength or weakness.

Honestly she's one of the most boring killers to face with some of her add-ons (######### beads for example) being borderline OP.

Would I call her balanced nowadays? Not really. But she's not OP either. Just incredibly dull.

Kinda like Hillbilly. Some bullshit add-on combos, add meta perks on top of her popularity and you just kinda get annoyed more than anything.

I think she is 99% balanced. If I could make one change it would be prayer beads.

Looking at the statistics of this poll, we can undeniably conclude The Spirit is overpowered. Not just her addons, but her power as well.

Let me prove it to those who are keeping themselves in the blissful ignorance of thinking she is balanced. Let's say a new survivor perk comes out tomorrow. When the survivor activities this perk, they leave a husk of their payer model, that cannot be hit or walked through, standing in place as they are free to move about completely invisible. It lasts for 4 seconds and has a 30 second cooldown. Good luck killer! :)

New poll, would this survivor perk be overpowered, balanced, or underpowered?

Well, Survivors are different than Killers, so it does not apply. 1 killer is 4x stronger than 1 Survivor.

And the majority says she's balanced.

This depends, as she is super annoying with Prayer Beads, but balanced

Okay I only chose Op because she's ALMOST balanced. The collision while phasing needs to be removed or at least make grass move while phasing. Oh and prayer beads.....

    Definitely balanced.

She can get countered or can be a great killer.

(Still levelling her up =) )

Also that is for survivors? Meaning all survivors could counter literally all killers. So your perk is overpowered. Spirits ability is limited to 1 player. And that being the Killer themselves.

If everyone could be invisible do you really think anything would get done?

Plus she's a ghost after all... Like come on.

    She’s pretty balanced

OP with certain add ons but only if you can play her very well and are good with mind games

Balanced overall. Only two changes that she really needs is:

    1. No collision while phasing
    2. When phasing, survivors moans & grunts become non-directional

I'm seeing a lot of comments on here that voted "balanced" and then say 'but here's the thing/things that should be changed because it's kinda OP.....' facepalm

You people clearly don't understand the simplicity of the poll.

The point I made went a smidge over your head. It was a hypothetical archetype to showcase the absurdity; entirely rhetorical.

Thanks for the input, though :)
