Weaker or harder ? Means you want devs to BUFF OR NERF her, it's totally contradictory. Maybe you could give some arguments to deal with? Or explain in more detail what's wrong with her ?
Spirit gameplay is very oriented about prediction of survivor moves and mindgame so yes you need skills to play her efficiently.

You just need 3 things
1) Learn her counters
2) Adapt to her playstyle
3) This is the most important one: GIT GUD, and maybe stop crying?

The only issue with her is Prayer beads, not her

Strong? Yes. OP? Nah. The Spirit has a strong chase game that doesn't let you just book it out of there and think you're safe, you have to actually play a bit immersive, even mid chase sometimes. Run Lithe, Dance With Me, Urban Evasion, and Iron Will, and learn when to run and walk, maybe using Fixated as training wheels, then escape won't be quite as difficult.
When survivors complain about killer strength, its usually because they have weak fundamentals (what they should do, and should not do) rather than the killer actually being OP.

Harder=/=better. Harder as in harder to play, not better.

The only thing that is OP is Prayer beads. Without that addon she is a viable killer and good killer.
