Hatch Closure

I approve of end Game Collapse to avoid game hostage, but due to the killer closing the hatch I more often them not am unable to open the exit gates and escape.

My suggestion, which has been backed by other players I know, is that the hatch can be reopened similar to the opening of the exit gates or the exit gates go 50% faster when there is one player remaining and the hatch has been closed.

The time can still be activated by closing the hatch and should remain active, but the chance of survival would greatly increase with the ability to open gates faster or reopen the hatch.

Killers with quick travel methods can easily go between the gates and the last survivor has no time to open the gate or has any chance of survival when the killer can quickly travel across the map.

Thank you for your time and I hope this feedback helps to improve the situation for survivors playing.

The point is that Survival isn't meant to be high when the Hatch closes because you already failed to finish the gens and failed to find the Hatch in time. This would be your third out for escape.

At most, I'd be down for the Exit Gates to be slightly further apart on average.

I think the hatch is fine how it is now. Would be nice if the exits were further apart though as sometimes they are extremely close and it can be difficult to get the door open if you are the last one alive.

Also you could always just bring a key or get lucky and find one :)

Survivors get screwed over in the EGC if the gates are close together, killers get screwed over in the EGC if the gates are far apart. Perfectly Balanced.

Survivors can use keys as well. I think that's enough to try to go for hatch. Either luck or pay attention to your surroundings to find it. As for opening a gate sometimes the best approach is right away, and sometimes its good to wait for the killer to go back to the other door. Some people start it a little bit and stop before the light turns on and hide again, and then try to finish it etc. Also there is a perk, that opens the doors faster.

It's possible, but not easy. And it shouldn't be completely easy.

This idea seems to really hurt the killers who have no ability to travel fast, because some killers can travel faster..

Having 3 ways out and also 1 way being extra fast to go through doesn't seem that beneficial to balance. (And again.. there's keys if you just want to jump in).
