So when will NOED get removed, reworked, or nerfed?
It’s honestly just a perk for people who can’t get kills because they suck. I haven’t seen a single game of killers without using it. I’m at purple ranks and it’s annoying dying to some BS hex because as a team, we decided not to break totems and actually focus on objectives. I was thinking of a away to make it a actually somewhat skillful perk. Why not make it so it gives you a high amount of haste? It already gives you a slight movement speed increase, so just remove the expose and increase the speed boost?

Doesn't need nerfed you need to cleanse totems
73 -
it's a perk that rewards noobs and that's a fact
28 -
Totems aren’t the main objective. You normally only cleanse totems if there are already a hex on em. You shouldn’t have to go out of your way of the MAIN objective just to do a totem.
4 -
You need to cleanse totems. They are worth 1000 points and are considered the secondary Survivor objective.
30 -
What if someone doesn’t care about points? And as you said, it’s a SECONDARY objective. You should worry about the primary objective.
3 -
You're completely overstating its frequency usefulness. It doesn't need a nerf or rework. The killer plays the entire game with 3 perks to gain a benefit that survivors can preemptively negate and cleanse after if goes off. I'm a rank 4 survivor and I can count on one hand the amount of times I've died to NOED in the last week.
10 -
That’s...that what a hex perk does though
4 -
I can’t tell if you’re being sarcastic or not
2 -
@GuyNamedPubert Well, if all you worry about is the main objective, then don't complain about NOED. Cleanse totems, and the killer won't be able to use NOED. The counter for it is right there in the game, on each and every map. You're choosing to ignore it, and then complaining about.
And Not_Queen stated months ago when Freddy was reworked that NOED is not getting changed. Cleanse totems. It has a counter.
13 -
Then I suppose you will be punished for not doing your job.
You have an extremely easy way to counter NOED, if you do not want to do it, that is ENTIRELY on you.
13 -
Yeah, no. If the killer can get a 4K game with NOED, you failed to cleanse the totems. The killer hasn’t failed until the survivors escape. When using NOED, the killer doesn’t have a perk to use until the exit gates are powered.
I’m certain you just played a game and died because of NOED. Next time, cleanse all of the dull totems if you suspect there to be a NOED. If you go against one and don’t cleanse totems, get out or get the totems ASAP
10 -
I'm not being sarcastic it's the God's honest truth
1 -
Oh another person crying over noed.
1st. The primary objective is to live.
The game isnt over until you hatch out, leave exits or die. Anything other is basically a second. You can hatch out with no gens done now.
2nd. There's a bunch of perks revolving around end game. End game is still part of the game, sorry to burst your bubble.
You guys probably cry over blood warden and remember me too because you think you won when all gens got too eh?

If it was a hex totem which was lit up like a truck. Anyone would just cleanse it instantly. But the fact that it becomes "active" and isnt lit up from the start of a trial is the only reason some players complains about it. I wish they'd release more hex perks like it. That way maybe we'd see less mention of it because then for sure. Cleansing totems would something survivors actually do actively. Youve got a perk to find totems. Theyve even added an increase to BP earned from cleansing them.
Just because you decided to not cleanse a totem which was seen in passing or decided to just ignore totems completely because it wasnt active from the start of the match is not the fault of the killer who's running a hex perk (NoeD in this case)
By ignoring a dull totem as a survivor.
Your gambling the same way killers gamble when running a hex totem like Ruin.. So either cleanse dull totems or ignore them. But dont complain because you decided to take a gamble and it was the wrong choice that one trial. Not everyone runs NoeD. Seems like you have bad RNG in matchmaking but that has nothing to do with the perk.
1 -
I wish they removed the haste effect from noed that's what makes it a cheap perk in my opinion
1 -
I don't think people "suck" or are "noobs" for using things that are available to them in game.
If you don't like getting slugged, use tenacity + unbreakable etc.
If you don't like noed, cleanse the bones. Adapt. If not, and if they have noed, I suppose try to get better at dodging/hiding and getting away. OR keep track of where you see dull totems on the map, and if they have noed you know where it could be to cleanse it then.
Noed is like adrenaline... except it makes you fall down \o/
3 -
Ita crazy huh? I personally go out of my way, as a solo survivor to cleanse all five. And guess what
Bam no noed. Omfg who'd have thought.
Even as killer, i cant remember the last time i got a noed down because usually im playing against competent survivors who are smart enough to cleanse totems instead of crying over an easily avoidable perk.
5 -
Seriously just do the totems
7 -
NEVER
0 -
Ah, so many toxic killer mains here.
Ok, lets put this into play...
You solo queue into a survivor game with a random team, you don't know if they good or bad players, you just know they the same rank as you. You spawn in and start working on a gen, killer has ruin so you decided as the good player you are, you go look for ruin and other totems of sources. While looking, the killer gets into a chase with you, and you are unable to get any totems cleanse because you being chased. None of your teams worry about getting the totems and you can't do anything because you are getting chased. Final gen pops and you hope your team gets the gates open as you run the killer around. But wouldn't you know, the killer has NOED and everyone dies because no totems were cleansed, this was the only time everyone got hooked because the killer just isn't good enough to get anyone until now.
So don't tell someone to "just cleanse" because stuff like getting chased and bad teammates happen.
2 -
That wouldn't be a bad idea, that small speed boost makes a huge difference.
1 -
Your primary objective is to escape. If NOED is preventing you from doing your primary objective, than doing totems to aid in your primary objective of escape should be higher on your priorities. Anytime you run past a totem without cleansing it, just to get hit by NOED later... You only have yourself to blame.
7 -
No, its a perk that rewards a killer against lazy survivors.
9 -
Another one of these. This will go no where.
2 -
Can I just add "Toxic" is very over used. It's not used for people that disagree with you. It's for those guys that tell you to ######### and toss racial slurs at you.
6 -
Then clean the bones so the noob doesn't get his reward. I mean ffs "Inner Stregth" was made for that sole purpose!
7 -
You want to nerf NOED?
Break all five totems.
3 -
Oh I'm sorry, let me just hide behind this gen in a wide open field, pretty sure the killer won't notice me.
1 -
Everytime I get downed by NOED. I get pissed......
pissed at my TEAM MATES. You know how easy it is to cleanse 5 totems? Guess not. When literally 90% of the time a killer has ruin and I will destroy at LEAST 1 dull totem before finding ruin? Seriously NOED going live only happens if your playing with survivors who completely ignore dull totems.
If you play a killer with ruin. Everyone take a totem and one person take two totems. Thats it...wasted perk slot.
6 -
Never cause noed is balanced. If noed gets nerfed so will Adrenaline btw
2 -
noed would be more balanced without the haste effect it's what makes it a brain dead perk
0 -
Noed is balanced, clean the bones lol
2 -
I'd say this was lost to whining, but it started there.
0 -
Adrenaline isn't even as OP as people make it out to be. You get healed once and a speed boost for a few seconds. NOED counters it and if the killer is good, they can get you down again no problem. Also if you downed, you become injured and are a 1 hit no matter what.
0 -
Clean the bones, there's only 5.
3 -
Cleanse totems or take the NOED, it really is that simple, Adrenalin doesn't need a rework because I don't use Noed or am playing a Insta down killer, adapt to things because noed isn't changing and is only viable if survivors get sloppy
0 -
if I do all 5 totems I wonder why no gens are done and all 3 teammates are hooked
1 -
No
1 -
- I already said, WIDE OPEN FIELD. Where do I go from there? I need to run somewhere to even hide.
- Did you know you either have to unlock the teachable in the bloodweb or shrine? CRAZY I KNOW! :D
0 -
Well that's a you problem. You can't expect to gen-rush a killer and not get punished. And yes, you can do gens and totems
1 -
Also everyone plays the same game stop the weird prejudice against people who plays killers/survivors that does nothing but make you look childish
5 -
am I saying I gen rush
1 -
If you don't you should have time to do the bones. That's all, bye
3 -
If adrenaline wasn't that great then it wouldn't be meta.... Have you never chased someone injured and as you're about to hit them they heal and sprint burst away? Or, have 3 or 4 injured people heal once the last gen pops?
Adrenaline is extremely powerful. Though I'd choose instaheals and keys being removed before asking adrenaline to be removed.
3 -
Everyone one plays the same game, dead by daylight. but not the same role and don't always like playing a role.
0 -
Simply doing a gen isn't gen rushing that's called a survivor doing the objective
1 -
And instaheals and keys should be removed why? Instaheals are a 1 time thing and keys don't have a use unless it's purple or higher or with add-ons.
0 -
Do bones.
And NOED counters Adrenaline. For NOED to be removed, Adrenaline would have to go, too.
Sure, as survivor it sucks to cleanse four dull totems and still go down to NOED, but maybe that's on me and I should leave at least one up in case I can't find the fifth, then it's a 50/50 chance of which one is NOED.
Ever start cleansing a dull totem, the last generator pops, and then suddenly your totem is lit and a second later you've cleansed NOED? That's the best feeling.
3 -
I am purely stating facts. Sorry I got some common sense.
0 -
Still, its insanely stupid to not take someone's opinion seriously when they play a different role than you, this is coming from a dude who plays like 50/50 of both. If everyone can run borrowed time, DS, Adrenalin, and balanced then killers can run strong perks to. So stop complaining about stupid things like noed and focus on things that are unbalanced, like spirit, ebony Moris, Insta heals and brand new parts
