That's a tough question. I've asked myself that one after a really bad match. I want to say it's slightly survivor sided but can quickly favor the killer if there are glitches or lags that pull the survivors towards the killer or the lag moves the survivor away from a hiding spot. Some killer add-ons make it almost impossible to survive but not every killer may have that particular add-on.

IMO, Problem is you are asking about fairness.. but only for those that play survivor?
If you play both sides, since there is two portions of the game, you might get a better understanding of what fair means in Dead By Daylight.
One of the first things you realize is the silliness of using the "main" adjective.

I am. Play survivor 95% of the time. I’m on Xbox and PC.

I think after all it just depends on the players experience.
Killers can easily win a game and so can survivors.

I think playing survivor is easier on pc. I play on the PS4. My friends who play both console and pc have said console (PS4/Xbox) is way more difficult for survivors.
