Survivors No Longer Have Ultra Rare Add-Ons/Offerings
If you say “but syringe is still ultra rare” Doesn’t the very rare perk, We’ll Make It, heal you just as fast, but workshops multiple times in the same match. Yes I understand the way they activate is different but devs need to call it something else besides “ultra rare”
Im sorry solo survivors, you just keep getting pounded and pounded into the dirt. Idk how you put up with it tbh.

We'll make it takes 8 seconds of healing.
Syringe takes 0 seconds of healing. It may take 8 seconds but it's 8 seconds of doing whatever you feel like.

I wish they made odd bulb better and removed the effect of deleting your flashlight
3 -
You don't have to stand still to passively heal with a Syringe.
1 -
Also you can use the Syringe on yourself. You cannot use We Will Make It on yourself.
2 -
You can also only use it once
1 -
But, you can only use it once while still being “ultra rare” is my argument

It's still pretty strong. 8 seconds is basically nothing. I could use it during a chase, last 8 seconds and then I'm fully healed. Honestly it's not that bad :v

Thats exactly what I’m getting at, “it’s still pretty strong” but it’s absolutely not worth an ultra rare anymore. Does BNP repair a generator over 8 seconds? No, but it’s still the same rarity.
Also, one of my points is that every time the devs try to nerf SWF just a little bit, SOLO survivors get hit TWICE as hard.

Are you suggesting it would be fine to use more than once?
0 -
I’m suggesting the rarity be changed to what it ought to be not what the past version of it still holds it as. It is no longer “ultra-rare” rare or very-rare at the most.

What makes it not worth ultra-rare?
0 -
Which was the case with the "old" Syringe as well.
This Add On is still good. Not as strong and busted as before, but still good. I mean, I dont think that the purple Insta Heal was that big of a problem. It was annoying, but not that busted. The pink Insta-Heal however was pure Bullshit, you can simply heal someone on the ground, which is way to strong.
The current versions are still usable, even tho they are not as strong as before. I think 7k BP is still justified.

But they do have rare item that has power of ultra rare if you use 1 rare and 1 common addon. I'm talking about emergency medkit which heals you now extremely fast. I've tried it and it's nuts how fast it heals now and how many times if you use addons.

To counter your idea that players are deluded and don’t think they can stipulate criteria to blatantly obvious changes, how about this logic: before the BNP nerf, the item was considered ultra-rare. Fast forward to the update that changed BNP and it is something most people would skip in their bloodweb as it no longer holds the SAME VALUE as it once did. The fact that it was ultra-rare before in no way constitutes it to be ultra rare today.
Same thing with the Syringe, before the PTB it would instantly and completely heal you, meriting it’s status as Ultra-Rare. Today, it is now able to passively heal you. It does not hold the same value, therefore it should not receive the merit of ultra rare. It is in no way comparable to say, an ultra rare Iridescent Head from Huntress.
*(BNP needed the nerf but also to its rarity)

id say the possibility of being healed mid chase is strong enough to be considered ultra rare.

In order for that comparison to hold water, you have to prove that Syringe was nerfed just as hard as BNP.
0 -
Pounded into the dirt?
In terms of those Add-ons, it's more like they were pushed down the mountain to land on level ground.
0 -
My comparison was merely to show that an item being nerfed such a small BNP needed the rarity change that it never received.
Considering that with the Syringe the killer maybe not give you the chance you fully heal, it can be completely negated; thus, deserving a rarity nerf.

When’s the last time you had trouble against a random 4 man ? I can play any killer I want and not have to struggle against them. it feels more casual than ever.

As for your other comment, I agree. It wasn’t pushed down as the only real ultra-rare item for survivors (LOL at odd-bulb and BNP) and no we it’s been pushed down. I wouldn’t say common, such a small your analogy to “ground level” but somewhat higher than that.

So restrict yourself.
0 -
Well sure, if we wanna be precise, i guess it's about 27 meters above sea level. 😝
0 -
trust me I’ll play perk wheel and still get 4K’s on randoms.
0 -
I don't agree that counterplay means it is not warranting the UR rarity. It just means that it is more balanced than before.
0 -
An RNG wheel isn't a restriction.
Restrictions are stuff like: Run No Mither, no fast-vaulting, no unhooking others, etc.
0 -
But you didn’t comment on the comparison to Huntress’s Iridescent Head, only to BNP. Am I to assume it’s also balanced from your perspective?
0 -
Nope. I think Iri head should be changed.
0 -
I see. I can do that, but does it mean that everyone else will? I doubt other killers would be willing to stipulate such changes just for the sake of poor balance.
0 -
Oh no, i don't believe that i'll make that happen at all.
Doesn't stop me from sometimes trying to show them it's okay to take off the meta every now and then. 😊

The new Syringe is a step toward good balance IMO. :P

I can take it just fine cause this game is so easy as survivor lmao

If you've used Inner Strength you know that the syringe is still totally viable to use for in-chase heals. You can't just use it to erase a mistake instantly, but if you use it after dropping a pallet or vaulting a window you'll often be able to stay alive until the 8 seconds are up.
And if you want a "classic" chase instaheal you an use styptic to apply BT to yourself.
The primary use of the syringe - instantly picking someone off the ground, often right after the killer downed them - was straight up stupid and I won't miss it at all.
