Can we please do something about Dying Light?

The 2.1 patch was definitely a step in the right direction, especially with the idea of making the perks suit the character and correspond well.

So what makes absolutely no sense, is The Shape's perkset. The changes to STBFL was well thought, but it promotes literally what the title says - Save the Obsession for last. It's even good incentive. But WHY does Dying Light intention completely opposite? If you were to use Adept Shape, Dying Light would be either the most important or the most useless.

Make it so that Generator progress is slowed even when the obsession is on the hook.

It's supposed to ensure if the obsession does die, the killer still has something good happen on their side.

You keep the obsession alive - you get cooldowns and faster movement speed (PWYF).

You kill the obsession - The gens are slowed down, other survivors suffer.

Stbfl was different at the time it came out but in an adept build, IT is the useless perk, not dying light. Gain speed with pwyf, then when you got 3 stacks, tombstone obsession. Dying light activates and as long as you tombstone you won't lose stacks on pwyf.

Your mistake is thinking that all a killer's perks need to have synergy with each other. There are different perks for different playstyles.

Some perks aren't even suitable for the killer they come with - look at Monitor and Abuse on Doctor, for example.

You have to mix and match all perks to get the results you want. STBFL and Dying Light are both very viable perks if used correctly, they just don't necessarily work well together.

I'm not a killer main, so as a Survivor it really just makes no sense to me - why would you want to kill your obsession if you lose tokens and such from them?

But, I can see what you're saying and it does make sense.

Also, they stated in a stream or youtube video they want to have teachable perks be synergized.
