who get hit from miles away after vaulting a window with dedicated servers?
I mean, i remember playing on dedicated servers before, but today the hits are nuts!

hitboxes always been an issue in DBD, unfair and annoying issue and the devs actually deny the existence of this issue sadly
the only possible explanation would be that they cannot fix it . like they dont know how or maybe even its not fixable .. I don't know tbh.
I play in green pings .. 30 - 40 .. 50 max , and the hits through windows are stupid as #########

They have addressed the issue before. I believe they said the problems were attack animations and latency. They've since adjusted the animations of some killers which did not properly match the actual hit detection range, but latency is a much more difficult issue, since you can't have a 0 ping game and there will always be some latency.
Also, they stated that getting hit through windows is intentional, since a killer's weapon should be able to reach over an opening in the wall. Getting hit after you've already left the window, however, is a problem caused by latency.

I was actually hoping for something like this in Freddy's rework.
Long spaghetti arms that can hit you from far away if you're asleep.

Hitboxes aren't the issue. It's how hits are detected. The hitbox doesn't stay at the window while you run off or grow in size. To the killer, you are still at the window and the killer is the server.
With servers, you could be 50ms from the server but the killer could be 200ms. The server sends your pos with its 50ms delayed to the killer. The killer sees your pos from 250ms ago and vice versa. If the killer swings and the server detects you were within range, within a few ms, it becomes a hit. From your perspective, you could be far away from that window.
Servers don't really solve any of these latency issues. They just fudge the delay a bit.

most games in this world have pings like 30 - 50 ms on average only this game has bs hits
also maybe youre new.. the bs hits only occured after the constant nerfs to vaulting speed and pallet vaccum nerfs.
I dont even wanna bother you reminding you about huntress BULL SHI t hitbox detection. you can go and belive that this game is fine the way it is.
me myself I am like thousands of others who think they gotta fix the bs hits through pallets and windows.

I agree with the huntress hitboxes. I hate huntress with a passion.
Also, the only multiplayer game I really played before this was the dark souls series, which had plenty of bs hits. This game is much better by comparison.

Happens to me even p2p. Nothing new.
Don't even get me started on how a lunge from around a corner will hit me in a 180 degree angle around the obstacle.

Because of this reason, i switched fully to killer for now.
The Bullshit hits in this game are simply not acceptable anymore.
Apparently i am an Elephant in this game, at least my hitbox is.
