Recently looking at the discussions, I have seen something that just doesn't make sense to me. "Preventing gens is the killers objective." Or something like that.

Wasn't the killers objective to KILL the survivors by any means necessary, not protect gens and hasn't the survivors objective to escape by any means necessary, not do gens?

    Yes, but you'll have a hard time getting kills if you don't protect the gens, and you'll have a hard time escaping if you don't repair the gens.

    Take it at face Value

    A 1v4

    Killer Objectives: Stop generator progression at all costs and kill the survivors

    Survivor Objectives: Repair the generators as quickly as possible and survive the killer


    Forget face camping/tunneling and "gen rushing".

    Far as I am concerned, we are complaining about the same things since 2016.


    Just play the damn game!

    The objective is preventing them from escaping. One way of doing that is stopping gen progress. Another is preventing the gates from opening. How you accomplish this is subjective.

    Lore wise your objective is to make the survivors suffer without them giving up hope of somehow escaping.
