Disconnection from host
As killer I've had weird experiences with the dedicated servers. The first one I was picking someone up and I THINK they dcd and at that point I was disconnected from host and it basically counted as if I had personally dcd and lost all points/items.
The other 2 times have just been randomly during the match I get dcd and lose points/items.
Is anyone else experiencing this?

I've just begun to experience this problem today. The first match happened when I was playing a Wraith game. About 4 minutes into the game, I was disconnected from the host, even though, I was the host. Later on during the day when I was playing in a swf group, and despite having good ping in the lobby before the match, I would also lose connection to the host, lose all my points, etc. about 2-3 minutes into the game. This issue has occurred 3 times to me today. I've already re-verified my game files and I am currently uninstalling/reinstalling the game to see if this will resolve the issue. Is anybody else experiencing this issue and do you have a potential solution?

Been experiencing this for 2 weeks, it happens every other game :c
Verifying game files doesn't help
It's not the killer disconnecting because my friends stay in the game just fine (they even got to BP farm because the killer thought I ragequit one time)
My internet can get a little laggy at times but it's never outright drops, I play all my other games just fine. It's genuinely just an issue with the game at this point.

It sucks. I noticed the same thing, especially as killer. Game counts it as you personally DC'ed, when you did not at all, and internet was good etc. It's really frustrating when you are trying to get bloodpoints and lose it all.
If only we at least got a cosmetic shirt for the trouble.... "I tested this game and all I got was this lousy T-Shirt".. lol..

i have this problem every other match and i scary that devs ban me cuz game think that i personally dcd abd this problem only when i killer for some reason

Description of issue: "Disconnected from host" or "Network error"
Steps to reproduce (if possible): Upset the killer. Example: Completing multiple generators in a short rapid time. Or outrun & lose the killer multiple times very quickly.
How often does this occur: EVERY day! The killer gets mad then I get "Disconnected from host" or "Network error" which most times send back to the main screen. I lose my item, add-ons & offering AND no blood points!

I'm seeing this happen on PS4 quite a bit in the last month or so. It'll show me and my wife that we're disconnected from the host, and it acts like the Killer has DC'd (shows him with the DC icon and zero points at the end), but they're almost always winning or in the middle of an action when it happens, so an actual DC is unlikely. Also, there's no apparent ping issues in lobby or leading up to the disconnected from host event.
For example, I could hear the whoosh of Trapper's machete behind me, but the game booted us and showed Killer as DC'd. On PS4, it's almost impossible to be taking an action and disconnecting at the same time (and he was doing a good job, so there was no obvious reason to DC).
Similar with a Freddy match, he had two sacrificed, me on a hook, and carrying my wife to hook her and the game did the disconnected from host message. Again, it's physically difficult to DC on PS4 while mid-action (and he was owning us big time, so why would he). I really hope it's not affecting them, because they're earning their points and pips fairly and then appear to be treated as voluntary DCs
On the Survivor side, we seem to keep rank pips, items, and any Archives challenge progress, but BP payout isn't always present. I'm hoping same happens for the Killer, but reading this thread, it seems maybe not. I hope it gets fixed soon, because I hate for people to play well, play clean, and get punished for it
