Generator secondary OBJ idea
This idea is a WIP and would most likely need changes
Light Boxes
3 Light Boxes spawn in by the walls of the map, each one at the start of the trial will have 1 light green. When completing a generator, the light will go red on one of the 3 light boxes, all the light boxes auras are shown to the survivor(s) who completed the generator. When a light box has a red light, no generators can be worked on until the light box is repaired, this action takes 13 seconds with rapid good skill checks during the action. Upon being repaired all survivors will hear a sound effect alerting them that generators are able to be repaired again. Perks do effect the timer and "This is not happening" will give the skill checks a great skill check bar.
Blackout box
2 of these spawn in per trial after the 5th generator is completed, this allows exit gates to be activated and one must be activated to make exits available, when working on one you get the Oblivious effect and the killer is alerted it is being worked on by a loud sound notification. The Blackout Box will take 10 seconds to activate.
Perk changes
Hex:NoEd- When a blackout box is repaired, the hex activates. All survivors are exposed and the killer has a boost in movement speed by 1%/ 2%/3%. If a generator is completed 30/35/40 seconds after a lightbox is activated this hex will activate for 20 seconds, and then will deactivate to be activated later.
Hex:Ruin-Also applies to LightBoxes
No One Left Behind- Upon Blackboxes being prepared to be activated you gain 100% more BP in the Altruism category and preform altruism actions 5%/9%/14% faster. Upon exit gates becoming active the altruism actions increase to 9%/14%/18%

So they have to find which box has the red light and you can only finish one gen at a time? I like the idea but it would destroy gen speeds beyond being and counter relia my. At least with that much of a stipulation. Maybe each box pertains to one gen? So you get three then have to get light boxes, then back to gens. Would make mid to end game an interesting romp.
Could also buff trap killers, needs tweaking as you said, and I think balancing on maps properly but.. yeah kind of a cool idea. I wouldn't be against it as a survivor but Everytime I think about this stuff it's so back and forth. On one hand you'd really mess up solo weaker survivors, on the other you'd balance out strong swfs.
I like this idea a bit more than others I've read. But maybe this could be combined with the "certain rank" requirements some have proposed. Like purple and red only ect.

Also maybe no notification on blackout attempt but I won't lie. I love it the more I read it. Very interesting idea!

Absolutely, the real problem is what helps low end killers, makes high end killers to effective. If we get some more killers bunched up and effective we can have more ideas like this I think.

I like the idea, add in oblivious effect to the light boxes and a notification AFTER using the light box and it could be good...

How many ruins have you found?
This is supposed to help reduce the amount of Ruins per match and make killer not a stress to play for people

With my swf team we like to make generators with active ruin, so that the killer despairs more! Survivors and murderers do not play on the same side, they all have to understand!
NOED is NOT a problem for a swf team of 3 people. In less than two minutes it is deactivated.

NoEd can still be an issue against killers who know what they are doing

A second objective would always be welcome for survivor. But only if gen times get decreased to balance the second objective out.
In this game's current state, increasing survivor objective time will make too many things unbalanced.
Whenever Lightboxes are shown and one of them has a red light, all the auras of all survivors should be revealed to each other, or at least the auras of survivors that are working on the lightbox with the red light should be revealed to all other survivors, otherwise this second objective will hurt solo survivors more than swf.
