Can we get rid of chat after game it's so abusive. Don't need to read how you did something wrong and be abused.

While you can turn the chat off, of course, I feel like the chat is doing more harm than being useful.

You could keep the pre-game chat so that survivors can discuss how they want to play. I rarely see something useful coming out of the after-game chat.

I got threatened today that I was reported and called some disgusting things. All because I had to get up for a minute and answer phone

Maybe the Paladins community is nicer but I’ve had more nice conversations in after game chat than rude conversations(I’m not mentioning dbd because console doesn’t have after game chat) most people probably won’t message you to have a nice chat, sadly.

Once upon a time survivors could know who they were facing. They used that info to look through their achievements and dodged according to prestige and certain killer achievements, mainly nurse. Thag is why it was removed and now only killers see the names until the endgame screen. Killers however cant really do the same since once you unlocked all the perks survivors are mostly skins.

I had to set my messages on PS4 to "friends-only" just because of DbD.
And when I watch PC streamers, the majority of their after-game chats consist of more or less severe insults.
I see a lot more on the contra than on the pro side when we are talking about keeping the after-game chat.

Which is why I said that the Paladins community is probably nicer. I don’t think it needs removed necessarily but an option in your settings to disable it would be nice for those that don’t want it.
I’d personally like to have it on console but that’s just my opinion.

I've done this too... Though now my friend requests are full of abusive messages attached to insincere requests. Or in another game I had someone who died on hook follow me 200 times so that the rest of the game was plagued with notifications. I really don't understand the energy it takes to get that angry or the need to act on it in the pettiest ways possible.
I'd personally rather this stuff stayed in game if it was going to happen anyway- I genuinely think pc players have it better!

That's why I disabled friend requests as well.
