Just a question about icons on the forums...
I know there's the banned icon, the red icon for trusted members, but what do the bars mean on an icon?
For instance, @Rin_is_my_waifu has them, and I'm curious as to what they mean on the forums.
If anyone can let me know, that'd be great. If not, well, that's alright.

It means that you can't do these things for a week:
1) Post discussions
2) Comment as often

Think of it as a "warning" rather than a ban on your account, you're limited to the following above for however much time it's placed on you.
These individuals may be told how long the "warning" will last, but that's unclear to me personally as I've never been jailed to know if that's true or not...
Regardless, if you're jailed, the next time you break a forum rule your account will get banned for a certain amount of time, I think it starts at a 1 week ban than a 1 month ban than perma? That information is more clear if you go review them on the forum rules and bans sub-forum.
I do know this, if the offence is severe enough it'll skip all of those time frames and just go straight to a perma ban, and some bans can be given without warning depending on the offence.

How do u get different icons/pics?

Click the gear icon at the top right of the page.
Click Edit Profile
On the right side of the there will be several buttons (in this order):
- Edit Profile
- Change My Password
- Notification Presets
- Change My Picture
Click Change My Picture.
There you go.

There are, in my opinion, a vast amount of banned accounts on the forums.
It's a little intimatidating as a new forum user and sends the message to me at least. That's it's not very safe or open to post without intense fear of being banned.
Once again, just my observation.

That is an interesting thing to note. I got a warning for the smallest of things (calling a particularly toxic build cancerous, if you're curious), and that made me realize that you walk a fine line here.
Still, not as bad as tumblr.
