Struggling against Ghost Face. Help.
Hey guys, I am not a pro nor I have tons of hours in the game, usually doing my best as survivor to be helpful for the team, but
But I do struggle a lot with Ghost Face, I find him really hard to see (that's the gimmick I know...) but every time I spot him is already to late, his chasing is incredibly fast and I never can escape. Me vs GF is almost always 2 hooks in 3 minutes and let the team with one less survivor.
Any typs please? I've seen more often GF then before so I would like to be efficient also vs him. Thanks

Use Spine Chill.

Spinechill is one of my go-tos. Using that, you can pretty much pump out gens in peace, and disappear should a killer start making his way toward you.

Just use spine chill.

I was running premonition, probably you both are correct, spinechill is the way to go vs him.

Premonition can give you information if the killer is nearby, but... Often times, theyll be busy chasing someone else and had no intent on coming to you. This'll just leave you with a feeling of paranoia until the cooldown is done and you can use the perk again to see that theyve left the area. Spinechill on the other hand will let you know when the killer has his intention locked on your location. Simply wait for it to light up and STAY lit up for afew seconds. It'll turn off and on when the killer is chasing someone nearby, but itll STAY on when the killer is walking to you.

On the opposite side i'm having a really hard time playing as ghostface just to do a daily objective. My rank is going to get nerfed to hell by the time i get 3 insta downs

Spine chill is generally the much stronger perk compared to Premonition.
Premonition has a cooldown, spine chill always works. LordGlint has explained how to use it.
Moreover, Spinechill has the added benefit of giving you a speed boost at crucial moments, which can actually save your life sometimes (like when opening exit gates) and if you are a boss you can spinechill fix a gen with Technician or while Stakeouting for a nice speed bonus while killer is chasing someone near the gen.
Some people might think Premonition is better because of its directionality, but you'll quickly find that Spinechill is the superior perk.
Unfortunately @martin I can't help you with how to kill as Ghost Face, since I don't have this killer. What I see effective against me is how they can sneak up on you, and learn how to stalk during chase to get that instadown. Save up the stalk meter on survivors I think, that's what they do so they can down you quickly in chase.

2 things.
1) Break him out of stealth if you can but don't go outta of your way to force it. It'll end up backfiring sometimes.
2) Always pay attention to your surroundings.

I actually hate it when I accidentally break his stealth while I was trying to stealth him! He sees me and then kills me. :)

Great explanation. Thank you, I will run spinechill from now on! Thanks community always very helpful

When you do see him coming/leaning: break los while making distance. The worst thing you can do is run in straight line as he'll get you to near-exposed, get close, expose, and down. If you're annoying enough to keep out of los long enough he may just give up on stalking you (for now) or even give up on it altogether and hit you getting rid of any stalk progress since then.
If you do get exposed: don't run to your nearest loop/pallet especially if it's unsafe. Keep making distance then use a safe pallet to force him to stop again. Even if you're unlucky enough to get downed in the timer you probably wasted a good minute of his to expose you in the first place and then down you.
Ghostface users: Run your preferred 'tracking' perk (mine's whispers) and keep to the outer ring of the map. Once it lights up crouch and pay attention to sight breakers nearby and peak around them at the generator you're near. If you're lucky they're on the side you're on. If you're unlucky they're on the other side but may not be looking in your direction letting you get a bead on them. Worst case scenario: they see you and get scared getting into LOS letting you start marking them for later, or stay at the gen to prevent marking but letting you get a free hit in which makes a win win.
