So sick of tunneling
Over 5hrs of playing and 99% of games are killers that use ruin and tunnel super hard. Just git gud at the ######### game already

I am good but ######### me doesn't matter how much DS or borrowed time they get hit with it just super hardcore tunnelling.

MUSTANG SALLY!!!!
3 -
I don't get it.

Take it as a compliment.
They clearly recognize you as the most dangerous of the bunch.
9 -
Play with optimal survivors.
2 -
I've had a couple of drinks. I'm in a good mood.
1 -
Doubtful. Super tunneling killers rarely do it because they consider that person a threat.
6 -
I can't help but wonder what your teammates are doing while you are looping the killer
Or are you one of those deplorables that disconnects when you get tunneled so the killer doesn't really get punished for the behavior?
5 -
What are you running?
0 -
That wasn't my point.
1 -
I'd like to get then 10,000 bp for a match
0 -
For the most part doing nothing, on rare occasions i get good team mates that get the 5 gens done and for the odd occasion they're being tunneled.

If you get hard focused every game then sorry to say, but you're the weak link of the team. At least in terms of looping. Most killers have adapted the most effective hunting strategy in the world, going after the member of the group that's easiest to take down. After all, the most effective way to win in DbD is reducing the effective number of survivors working on generators.

Not every game ends in me dying and some end with literally only me dying and everyone else escaping.

Urban evasion, DS, probe thyself & sprint boost
1 -
Someone playing the demongorgon completely ignored everyone else, fought through borrowed time, then i used ds, then my teammates would drop a pallet on him to get him to drop me. They built a literal wall around him and he just smashed through it to chase me again.
2 -
Sounds like you did something to really annoy him to make the player tunnel you that hard.
1 -
Annoying the killer regardless of rank seems to be just by looping them for a couple/all GENS, which results in face camping and tunneling.
4 -
Great opportunity to improve juking skills. Whenever I get a lot of tunneling killer (even when it sucks to be tunneled) I start using juking builds.
Remember as long as you're the one tunneled, all pallets on the map are there only for you. Use them as much as you want to get any chance to lose LOS for long enough to drop the chase or do some fancy juke that will allow you to lose the killer. It's hard but when you pull it off it's extremely satisfying.

Every thing is so simple with you. You provided 5 perks and also you will need an exhaustion perk to give distance between you and killer. 6 perks to avoid annoying play style. Plus you can only use DS once and it is quite easy to avoid that for 60 sec slugging.
There is literately not much you can do if killer wants you dead. Even if that costs them the game they still go after you, prevent you having a decent game.

I threw myself infront of the Claudette he was tunnelling so they got away that was when 1 gen had been done and he almost lost me to the trapdoor
1 -
Wasn't sure if you were being sarcastic or not.

I know from experience how hard it can be to spot the difference sometimes. 😅

its not hard to wait out iframes and insta chase someone off hook especially in areas with no pallets or dead zones. your comment is stupid and surface level and should be deleted

Sick of tunneling, face camp, ruin, noed?
Until you meet me ; )

That or they think he's an easy potato that they can get out of the game fast. Generally not a smart idea to tunnel a really good survivor because the time it will take to down him 3 times is usually enough for the other survivors to finish all the gens. If you're only putting pressure on one survivor you're not only to get a 4k unless the other survivors are doing nothing the entire time.

imagine complaining about ruin

Look tunneling sucks for the person getting focused true, but just like survivors can "gen rush" so too can a killer "kill rush". Its often the most effective way to get kills in unorganized groups. If its a big problem for you I would suggest running any anti-tunnel perks you can or playing far more "stealthy" to begin with.
1 -
part of the process in "gitting gud" is figuring out which strategy is the most effective.
If the Killer is able to tunnel you out of the game quickly then that is a good Killer and the problem is not his skill, but either your skill or the game design itself depending on the specifics of the complaint.
If the Killer tried to tunnel you but takes far too long doing it then there is no problem. An inefficient strategy is directly punished by it's own inefficiency. No need for an artificial punishment on top of it.

It takes everyone so long to do generators i'm only one nan eventually i'm going to run out of steam. I'm averaging being tunnelled for 3 or 4 gens with ruin active
0 -
It's not even being done quickly, i'm just being in a chase for so long.
0 -
Idk if The Killer wants YOU, they will likely get you lol I've seen people super tunneled and I will intentionally take two hits and go down but The Killer is relentless and determined to kill them.
0 -
Borrowed Time and Decisive Strike say hello.
the very second BT activates, the killer lost all "benefits" he would have gotten with tunneling, and DS will then make the whole decision hurt him a lot more than it helped.
0 -
I do play stealth but sometimes you get spotted or a survivor runs a killer into you. I'm keeping them busy for 3 to 4 generators, i've took a break because my team mates left me to die on a hook after a 2 generator chase and come back and i still got immediately tunneled by a ghost face you wasted 3 generators on chasing me.
0 -
I can't help with borrowed time thats up to my random teammates but so far borrowed time has not stopped with the tunnelling
2 -
Ime Killers tunnel even harder after a successful DS and/or BT. I've watched streams of Killers that get super triggered especially after DS and really want to go after that person.
0 -
Then that should be plenty of time for your team to do the gens.
If the gens are not being done then it's the other Survivors you should be complaining about, not the Killer.
0 -
it is not going to stop them, it is punishing them for doing it.
same with DS.
the killer doesnt know you have BT or DS until it hits them. and at that point, switching targets would hurt him even more, so he is going to stick to you - but that doesnt mean he will get the benefits he wanted from it. instead of getting an easy immediate down, he gets a healthy survivor AND gets stunned for picking you up, plus having to chase you down yet again.
if killers get hit enough by those things they will stop by themselves, as tunneling would just no longer be worth it.
0 -
Not all the randoms i'm being paired with are that great, plus there is so much time wasted before hand looking for the ruin totem.
0 -
That should work but there have been a few that just kept on going
0 -
some people just refuse to learn.
they will waste more time with the unhooked than when they would just have gone for the rescuer, so they will lose some gens in the process of tunneling.
they eigther stop it, or they will lose games left and right.
0 -
I'm not saying you did something wrong. Just that the Killer didn't either if the gens aren't being done anyways.
1 -
They're being done just not quick enough in most cases for me to run right out a open door.
0 -
I get that.
I'm saying that isn't something you should be blaming the Killer for. Not that it doesn't end up screwing you over, because it obviously does.
0 -
All day 99% of the matches i've been and it's not like they're even getting an easy kill for it. I've never had a day like this before. If i knew that getting back to purple ranks was going to make me a target of nearly every killer i wouldn't of bothered. The worse thing is the waiting to get to a new game is stupidly long just to be forced into another marathon.

What about the games where it's someone else being tunneled.
Why do you think it's always specifically you?
1 -
Because with the excepection of the odd game here and there, killers have always ran straight back to my hook or completely ignored all other survivors. I did just have a game where the killer chose to tunnel every other survivor but me.
0 -
You're not really much of a team player are you?
If you are tunneled to the killers detriment and you are able to survive long enough for the rest of the team to escape you may die but your side wins. How is your team winning not a decent game? it's all about perspective.
0 -
Ok.
Why?
Killers don't know you specifically. And statistically even if every Killer would tunnel one person the whole game like you are suggesting that'd still would only lead to you being tunneled 25% of the time.
So the only explanation is that something you do for whatever reason makes Killers more likely to want to tunnel you.
Maybe you tbag a lot, maybe the loops you use trigger people, maybe your skin is super eye catching, I haven't seen you play so I can't say what it is.
But if you (and not your entire team one by one) are being tunneled as often as you say you are then that doesn't add up unless something you are doing makes you more likely to be tunneled.
Can you describe your playstyle, build and Survivor to me please?
