I demand that the Hatch stays closed if the 3rd player DCs
Enough is enough!!!
This can no longer be tolerated!!!
When the 3rd player DC so that the other guy, who's sitting on the hatch can get it needs to stop. SWF abuse the system and we Killers will no longer tolerate this BS.
I demand the following change: If two survivors are left in the trial and one of them DC, the hatch will not open. Not by itself, nor can it be open with a key. It will also reveal the aura of the last survivor to the killer until he's dead.
No, I'm not kiddng. We killers get robbed our kills and the SWF laughing their butt off.
Killers unite and speak up, so that BHVR will finally acknowledge the injustice and will fix it.
@Peanits please make this happen

What are you gonna due when they ignore your "DEMAND"?
What are your ramifications for not complying?

What a shitshow of Thread.
DC-Penalties will come. That is all what is needed. You do not need to punish a Survivor because another Survivor DCed. How is it my fault, as a Solo Survivor, when another guy I dont know ragequits? Why should I be punished for that?

Good change, dc penalties on top and the hatch mechanic won't be that bs.

They've said they're looking into implementing a husk mechanic with dedicated servers that would fix this problem, allowing the killers to hook the disconnected survivor or leave them slugged.
I honestly don't know why they're waiting to do it until after dedicated servers are finished. Unlike DC punishments, it doesn't seem like dedicated servers would be necessary for implementation of a husk mechanic. Especially with The Archive challenges coming, completion of some of those can be completely denied by a survivor disconnecting. Since they want to make money with the premium pass, which is connected to those challenges, having the husk mechanic in working order should've come first.

You're so hung up over your entitled 4K that your IQ and EQ both took a collective trip down the toilet.

It has nothing to do with entitled 4K. But when I can't get the 3rd person, because he DCs and so that the 4th can escape through hatch, now that is BS.

I proposed a change in this topic a while ago. I think it could be a bit more acceptable than yours :P.

What about people who start sandbagging the last person by DCING so they don't have a chance?

@thatguyinktown that made me laugh lol

If there were penalties for disconnecting and players feared those penalities all these DC issues would go away.

This will be fixed once the husk system is implemented. The hatch won't open until the 3rd survivor has been sacrificed/killed by the killer.

The devs are supposed to be implementing a husk system with or after the launch of dedicated servers. If the Survivor DCs, their body will stay behind and you can interact with it. The Hatch most likely won't open until the husk bleeds out or is hooked/moried.

they said they wanted to implement a system that leaves empty husks of the survivors when they DC, which the killer can then interact with.
this should fix your problem, as i believe the husk will count like an alive survivor, not allowing the hatch to open, just because salty player XY pulled the plug.

Glad you are not in the development team

The husk system would be nice :)

This is just gonna hurt solos more at the end of the day:
Slug gets salty that the random doesn't pick him.up -> DCs to deny him hatch.
Yaay, good design.

I'm pretty sure it'll work the same way as if you decided not to pick him up: killer leaves it there for 4 minutes, it bleeds out. The husk isn't going to stay there infinitely
