Trapper
So i was playing a bit of trapper for the daily xp bonus (Im a survivor main), i brought the hawkins map offering and some purple addons.
I placed a bunch of traps around choke points and stuff. But then i realized that i ended up blocking a lot of my own movement paths b/c i placed traps in doorways. Yet another issue with trapper that i would never really notice while playing survivor.
So, to the trapper mains, do you think it would be appropriate for BHVR to make trapper not trigger his own traps when not carrying a survivor?
Also, i noticed that the trap aura reading vanishes when i get close... is that a bug or intentional?

I'm personally fine with the own trap triggering, but your final sentence is very annoying and seemed to have been a change that some mains find unintended. Just remember: you can hit a survivor that's been trapped to down them so that you can pick up the trap that's in your way or so on. This also lets you take the trap with you if it was a "one timer" kinda trap instead of having to pick up, go to hook, go back to trap.

While I do love it when the trapper steps in their own trap and drops a survivor, I do think it's odd that the person that places the trap wouldn't know to step over it.
Since the trapper is not the most OP killer, I wouldnt have an issue with this. Or perhaps he needs to press a button to stride over it, but you cant do that carrying a survivor. Best of both worlds that way.

I used to main Trapper in 2016-2017. Try using Padded jaws with STBFL. Let me know how that works for ya. I enjoy it.
But yeah, alot of the aura's with Trapper's Traps seem to be rather messed up lately.
Just give Trapper sacks base, or let him start with his traps, and press a button to step over his trap.
