Is there any trick to dealing with juking survivors?
Specifically, I'm talking about survivors that, when caught in an open area, will run around erratically like a crazy person to avoid getting hit. I sometimes end up losing a lot of time to this, and I'm wondering if there's some sort of trick to put a stop to it.

One of the big things I learned is to not lunge. Just get close and do a normal attack. The instant attacking is a lot easier to land.

@Monlyth Well for starters you could main Leatherface, that'll get 'em out of your face real quick. Jokes aside though, there are some tricks and perks that can help.
For techniques, try walking backwards for half a second or so briefly then lunging. By walking back you give the survivor room to move towards you and show weakness or fear. Now that survivor thinks that you're retreating they'll move aggressively only for you to smack them if they fill the void you made.
For perks, Unrelenting might be a good choice until you get used to hitting juking survivors. However, if you're on console, consider hooking up a keyboard to your console if you can to have more rigid and controlled movement.

Theres no trick to it, just focus on where youre gonna hit and hit them, im assuiming youre talking about 360ing if thats the case then its the easiest thing to counter and if you miss its lack of skill, but theres no trick to it as all you have to do is hit them
