Your routing was good when it came to guessing where they'd go within the tiles, but your mind-games at said tiles could use some work, and overall you could've relied less on the chainsaw to get the job done. Getting instant-downs isn't everything on Billy, and since he's quite a balanced Killer, people can get around the chainsaw if they know what they're doing.
You shouldn't rely on it for the most part, but it should be used more so for obvious "EZ" hits, and map pressure around getting people who're unhooking Survivors. It should obviously also be used for mobility.
You should also do more of what I saw you were doing, which was faking the chainsaw rev but instead cancel it at the pallet and go for a solid M1 hit on the Survivor. You should also use the chainsaw at dropped pallet loops to get the Survivor to go where YOU want. For example you could do this by having the Survivor go around the pallet to a walled off side with nothing close by. This will allow you to easily M2 them with the chainsaw and than hook them and move on.
Another thing, flicking at pallets is a good idea but it should only be done at LONG loops like one of the Jungle Gym windows, the loop around the pallet, and also the truck loops on azarov as well! Don't flick around loops with bushes like haddonfield, gas barrels and tire stacks like azarov, anything with a pretty bad hitbox you shouldn't flick around for a M2 hit.
And while yes the trucks on azarov don't have the greatest hit boxes... if you flick in a precise way you'll get the hit off. You should also know when to chainsaw someone at a L-Wall and T-Wall by judging the distance from you to the window, the Survivors skill with faking the window vault, and your charge speed on top of this. Of course you can't measure the Survivors skill off of the first chase, but by knowing how they loop around the first chase you'll know to either mind-game the pallets with a rev, or when to flick at certain loops with them.
At the shack loop, you should also flick when they're attempting to go through the window after looping you around it once. You can easily tell when they'll vaulting or not from these subtle tells... When a Survivor vaults they kind of "magnet" to the window and can be shown sliding across the floor depending where they're vaulting from, another is that the Survivors head isn't looking back towards you... that's another subtle hint that they're attempting to vault the window, and of course if they have a med-kit or toolbox than you can easily tell when they're going to vault. This is due to when they vault the med-kit and toolbox will vanish from their hand a few seconds before the vault animation (after they've hit space bar) and that's when you know they'll be vaulting.
Most Survivors that fake window vaults look behind them to see where your red light is, or they might be smart enough to not look behind them but instead look forward and move at the last second. Those are harder to detect, but if they have say an item like I said or if they're "sliding across" the floor to the vault than you'll know.
One last thing, if you have tier lll enduring than you should use it with Spirit Fury. You shouldn't use bamboozle since hitting people when vaults are open is actually a good thing (with the chainsaw of course) and overall with Killers that use lunges like Demogorgon or chainsaws like Billy and LeatherFace... it's best to have enduring. This will help you recover from a failed chainsaw hit or just M1 hit, and if you have Spirit Fury ready, you can just hit the Survivor before they drop the pallet, they drop the pallet ON you, than Spirit Fury breaks it and Enduring makes the stun get reduced by 50%... So you can easily just hit them again after and get a free down in the process.
I'm telling you, if you have Shattered Bloodlines in your DLC list you should level up Spirit for Spirit Fury... And if you don't, than Enduring is still good to use on Billy if its just solo. And hey, if you like Bamboozle regardless of what I said... than you can just put Enduring in, and keep Bamboozle! Don't use ShadowBorne... you really don't need it. And keep Pop Goes the Weasel in your perk list, its very good on literally every Killer but it's especially good on Killers like Spirit, Nurse, Billy, Killers that can get to generators really quickly...

Flicking is the proper name for the technique... or if you will "curving" can be another name for it. Flicking is tricky as it's not as good as it once was back in 2016... But here's a tip you might find interesting.
If you turn your mouse sensitivity all the way to the max! It actually does change how tight you can turn with Hill-Billys chainsaw for both options (That be, mouse for turning or using Q and E to turn.) That might make it easier for you to flick, or worse depending on how you look at it.

How do you know they're SWF?
You probably would have gotten better emblems if you were another killer. With killers like Billy, there's an oversight that doesn't include chainsaw hits when factoring in chases, etc.

Because i've asked them and they are tournament players.
I was always playing enduring/SF combo a month ago but i decided that the hit were not earned you see what i mean. I want to get out of the meta as much as possible. Flicking is it your word for curving or it is a technique i use by with different name.
