Will the archive/rift replace events?

The upcoming and delayed event has a new format that is closely connected to the rift. You earn serums by using the “free” track (or as I like to call it - the “advertisement” track). Will all feature events be implemented like this? Or will we see a return of previous events with additional gameplay? I really enjoyed hogging/smashing lanterns, for instance.

    I hope not, but probably. I loved the old Halloween event, and I'm sad that it has turned into another "do special gens, hook special hooks." Now you have too grind who knows how long just too get 2 FULL COSMETICS! It's a downgrade IMO and it saddens me.
