Deliverance shouldn't proc DS

You're using 2 perk slots both of which are a 1 time use that can easily be countered. If they jump off right in front of you then you should know that they probably have DS and you can slug them and counter it.

It's strong. And? This would be like: After seeing the aura of a survivor with BBQ you are not able to see the aura of this survivor again in the next 30 seconds. Deliverance is fine. DS is fine. Deliverance and DS together is fine. Pump up with Unbreakable and you got an ultimate escape from the hook. One time.

Yes and costly. That is two perks (three with unbreakable) with conditions that can get foiled (hooked before making a safe save, downed within 60 seconds of unhook, need to be left slugged).
For two to three perks they should have one reliable self unhook.

why not? It's so deliverance isn't suicide

And why not?
This is a good combo because of the broken status Deliverance gives. If you wanted to tunnel off the hook, you can just down them in one hit and slug if you are desperate.

just another NERF EVERYTHING survivors do post.
if deliverence proc'd DS that means you went back to tunnel which automatically means you deserve eating a DS :)

IKR like how common sense is this ? well said bud

There is another thing about Deliverance, I noticed when I use it can cause killer aggro. There is an increased chance they come back just to tunnel you, so DS is a wise precaution.

It can be pretty rough to see in endgame scenerios. Had a game awhile back where a Claudette deliverenced right in my face, and started crawling to the exit gate when I downed her. Tried waiting it out, but even when I picked her up RIGHT before she got out...still got a DS.

I don't see an issue with it. They're running two perks for a chance to do it. If you hook them before they can unhook somebody else, it doesn't work. If you down them and slug them, it doesn't work. If they manage to unhook someone but their teammate is already running in to save them, they'd probably be better off healing anyway.
The absolute worst case scenario is you hooking them in the end game only to have them unhook themselves and DS out the gate, but even then, their very situational build paid off because you failed to hook them before.
I don't see it as being any different from Unbreakable. You probably won't be able to use it, but it could be a game changer if you do.

I think it's fine as-is. Sucks if they pull it off when the gates are open and make the escape, but I say they earned it in that case.

I mean if you choose to use Deliverance infront of me and then waste decisive strike that's fine by me you just wasted two of your perks.
Keep in mind now that you pulled that trick on me there is nothing protecting you if I see you get freshly pulled off hook.

Why aren’t survivor perks allowed to synergize well with each other?
It would be like saying that if you run enduring, then sprit fury shouldn’t work because they work well together. It makes no sense.

Clutch plays are what make the game interesting. If they have a pocket Deliverance and made it all the way to end game with it active, and insured it with a DS, what's the problem? They made through almost the entire game without getting hooked. That's what perks are for; to give you a benefit in certain situations.
We got enough useless perks on both sides.

They're using 2 perks to accomplish it and Deliverance is a perk that has to be activated before getting hooked, which can go wrong in more than one way. Others could beat you to unhooks, you could get hooked first and so on.
That's like saying Enduring shouldn't reduce the stun time on stuns that proc Spirit Fury, or killers with mobility higher than some arbitrary measure shouldn't get aura reading from BBQ&Chili because it can be "too good" on them. Just because a combo has good synergy and can be strong doesn't mean it should be thrown out like that.

No... If a SV wants to run this combo, so be it. If their kobe in front of you, smack them down and leave or stay... whatever you fancy ;)

Deliverance isn't even a strong perk.
In at least half (probably more) of my games using Deliverance I don't even get to use it. I get hooked first, or someone else beats me to the unhook because I wait for a safe unhook, it's not even guaranteed you can get a single iota of benefit from it.
It's a nice, fun combo to run but it only woks once, isn't even guaranteed to work, and you can still chase the survivor down anyway after you get DS'd. If they were caught in a dead zone all it does is take 5 seconds of your day to get them back down.
No need to cry over this.

Why shouldn't it, OP?

Typical legion

They’re dedicating two of four perks to one purpose, it’s fine.

Why lol. They both have counterplay and arent even so strong together to begin with.
