Which maps are best for survivors?
I'm running out of offerings on my prestige 3 Ash and figure I could just start using the map offerings.

Depends, if your running Balanced Landing then Haddonfield is by far the best survivor map as the houses with windows at top levels (or really the meyers house) end up being infinites, otherwise is mostly random ones, Iron Works Of Misery, Rancid Abbitar, The Game.

Literally every map except the indoors one and Yamaoka

Haddonfield, all corn maps, most macmillan maps.

Haddonfield (especially with Balanced Landing ), Disturbed Ward ( Balanced Landing is also great here ), Mount Ormond, Red Forest and Coldwind Farm.

All of them?

I really like Mount Ormond and the Coldwind maps

Big Maps and maps with god loops

Rainbow ones 😉

shelter woods is pretty garbage for survivor
5 -
They all are.
Some are just slightly less so, depending on killer build.
Some are just absolutely garbage for a killer (haddonfield as an example)

The best map for a survivor is the Rainbow Map with Crystal Bead and Retardant Jelly.

It used to be not-so-good for survivors when there were less pallets. But the amount got increased so the map is now totally fine for survs.

Umm, when did they increase the amount of pallets in shelter woods? It has too little pallets still and its filled with dead zones that has nothing for survivors.
2 -
I’m like the only one who likes going the Meat Plant as survivor. Those pallets upstairs next to the holes in the floor are great if you have Balanced Landing.

Some time ago, I don't remember exactly, I would have to look up several patch notes.
Shelter Woods now has enough pallets if you use them reasonably and don't waste time when somebody else is getting chased. Dead zones are a normal part of maps, you can't expect to be safe everywhere.

Meat Plant is a safe pallet paradise with nice potential for Balanced Landing. I don't know why a lot of survivors think this is a bad map for them.

it's terrible for lithe which is the only exhaustion perk I use
0 -
Its still garbage though. BL is almost useless unless you use the basement in the shack or run to the tree which is a dead zone...

It's okay for Lithe. You have several jungle gyms with windows. It's a bad map for Balanced Landing, though.
0 -
BL not being useful doesn't lead to a map being bad for survivors when you don't need to run any exhaustion perks in the first place.
It's also okay for Lithe, it doesn't affect Sprint Burst/DH/Adrenaline.

I didnt mean it was solely bad due to this. I meant that this, in conjunction with the points outlined in the post quoted, contribute to it being a bad map.
