What rank are you? Most killers at red ranks (or even green usually) don't use NOED. If you want to get away from the NOED then try to rank up.

Sure it's a garbage perk, but not everbody uses it.

NOED is a kind of second chance perk, similar to unbreakable or BT. The difference between Adrenaline and NOED is that Adrenaline gives a boost to you when you're about to win, which seems like an unfair advantage to some killers.

Basically, if you get a crutch perk like Adrenaline, then they should get a crutch perk like NOED.

Also... do bones.

EDIT: you seem to have a very loose definition of "camping" based on the video. That pig did not camp you.

Cleanse totems and git gud.

Adrenaline does activate when hatch closes too, if just say 4 gens left. That's the only time it would reward for bad plays, not counting the rare times you did good and got slugged or whatever.

Personally i try to make sure all totems are gone or atleast a good portion. While doing gens, i do totems. I count the ones that are already broken. If i can't do it at that moment I try to remember where it's at last. I bring Small Game if I'm doing bad at finding them.

I was frustrated too, but i try get all totems as possible so my team doesn't have to deal with them. Back when NoEd got buffed, way back then. I was annoyed, like why would they do this?... Blah Blah Blah. Until like, i remembered i cleanse totems anyway so...it wasn't a big impact.

There are times now where i didn't get all totems. And it's a big surprise! *Gasp* It can get annoying if it happens again and again on a repeat. If it does get frustrating i quit for a bit or i bring Small Game to end the cycle, even for a bit.

Great discussion thread. Keep it up. Very substantial. From what I can tell, someone is insulted he must look for and cleanse totems in order to not be afflicted by NOED. OP inspires the community to be not only better players, but better people. 💖

People wanted more to do for Survivors, now they got it.

the very first headline was "can we fix noed please", which then got changed into "[bad word] this community", which then changed into "guess we have to cleanse". for the actual post, idk. when i clicked on it it updated into this mess.

so, according to the responses he got it was a threat about nerfing noed, which got shut down rather harsh by the community.

"Just do totems". God I'm sick of that response. Unless you're going to expend alot of time you almost never find them all solo. I've had games where I've cleansed 4 totems and the one I didn't find bites me in the ass. Understand I actually have no issue with Noed. But do bones is really getting to an old response.

Tell someone the obvious doesn't mean it's a good response. A good response adds something to the conversation. Everyone knows how to prevent Noed. But if you're the only person cleansing it's not so easy. I understand completely why people find Noed frustrating. I'd actually disagree about it not being OP. After all, how many other killer perks can cause such a massive swing in their favor? I also understand that it's still a fair perk.

Personally I think a better way to do Noed is go back to a timer on the perk. One that adds time for each hook the killer gets. But that's a separate issue.

Well considering it is the solution what else do you expect people to say? Hide in the grass?

Generally the OP for these topics is just venting. Telling them to do the obvious doesn't really help. They're usually just getting their frustration out. As many times as I get hit with Noed despite doing 2 to 3 totems every game. I understand that frustration.
