Halloween Event
thanks to sony we are not missing the event in the rest of the platforms nose because they do not take out the event in pc and xbox and nose talves switch and that ps4 wait as well as they did with the clown dlc it is not the fault of the rest that certification was delayed a lot of time and that happens to everyone now is not fair so they should release the event already on the other platforms and that ps4 keep waiting

It is not Sony's fault that the patch is getting delayed. The devs know how long the certification process takes.
If the patch doesn't get submitted to Sony in time, it's not Sony's fault when the patch can't get released in time as a consequence.
And no, it will only divide the community further if the platforms don't get the updates at the same time. We had enough examples of that happening in the past, we don't need it again.

It will be released on all platforms at the same time to keep it fair.
It's not the people who play on PS4's fault and they shouldn't have to feel left out because someone feels they can't wait a little longer.

That banner on xbox has been up since the day the event was supposed to be released. It does not mean they approved the update just that they didn't bother to change it after it was postponed . Leaks are not gospel you know.

the developers knew the long time it takes and they still took a decent patch because it is certain that it comes with many bugs so the fault they have they had to have put to work before if they knew this would happen

Has there been any official word that the patch is ready and we're simply waiting for PS4 certification? If that's the case, then we might all get the event soon :)
Personally, I don't mind of other platforms get it first (I play on PS4), however, I don't think it's going to happen. I think the devs will keep the timing consistent across all platforms.

Also we know that the patch did not get submitted on Friday. Even if it got sent to Microsoft yesterday (what we absolutely have no indication of), the certification process would take more than just a few hours.

Ps4 players already complain and say "they quit" more then literally every other console so let them? They literally only complain about bugs that other consoles don't have. Just ditch them.

Yeah they're not even to the certification process yet unless their communication is really that bad. They should announce today where they are (otherwise I'm not sure what they meant by "early next week"), so we'll see what's going on. Just don't get your hopes up, and this is on BHVR, not Sony. Several other devs have event patches that shipped on time with no issues on the Playstation, so this isn't on them.

Well tbh..Ps4 users did have to wait like 3 extra weeks when the clown came out. Because it was "the biggest update they ever did"
So I mean they have a right to be upset, Because back then I was playing just on ps4. So I know what its like to have to just wait and wait and wait and wait.
This isn't PC Master Race, this is..Everyone loves the game and wants to play it. Everyone wants the event and wants to play it. BUT the whole its coming this day then not even 24 hours later..oh its postponed with nothing else until there was an up roar then they did an "upated" post saying why it was postponed..And thb..PS4 dbd is pretty ######### lmfao

Ps4 is absolute garbage with literally every game not made by triple A company. It's why only fanboys really love the console. But it's silly. We shouldn't (if it is Ps4's fault) have to wait until [BAD WORD] November for this damn HALLOWEEN update. The only event all year btw, the only update really anticipated, and delayed. Kinda messy reply but this is imo, incompetence from devs and ps4 being bad

I completely agree, we didn't get a summer event because they said they wanted to work on dedicated servers...lol.....thats all im gonna say about that..Then they told us about the halloween Event, gave us the date for it, then not even 24 hours later they say that its not coming out because its postponed. I understand them wanting to put it all out at the same time. BUT if its easier putting it out on pc why don't they do that THEN if there are even more changes or breaks they can do it before the submit it. Clearly the PTB wasn't as bad as what just happened. I played it there were some messed up stuff but it shouldn't have taken that long. But then again who knows..Maybe its sony being a pain in the ass like they were with the Clown DLC. Never know
They are gonna be having people calling Sony and Microsoft like they did when the clown DLC was postponed longer than they liked.

In fairness they kind of made the whole event pointless. I don't play survivor so no spooky flashlights or medkits, and the cosmetics are unrelated to the event. But yay for creeping monetization. Literally been looking forward to this all year, thanks bhvr.
