This is just pure fun....
Lately I have honestly gotten kinda bored with the same ole stuff....but with this update it made the game a lot of fun again! Not to say that I did not like the game anymore just you know how it is. Great job devs!

I agree having challenges to work towards really brought my interest back into the game. Especially since they reward progress with charms and lore.

I can see the fun of having challenges and such but ultimately this didn't change the game. We still use the exact same mechanics with the exact same objectives. Nothing changed but the way in which you enjoy the game. That's good! Don't get me wrong.
But I prefer new mechanics that update the staleness of the game. Cough generators Cough

Sometimes all it takes is a different perspective! You don’t have to change the game to keep people interested, just encourage them to look at it a different way.
That’s what the archives do! It gives people the feeling of “new and shiny” without requiring any sort of overhaul.
When the new-ness wears off, people may get bored again. But that would happen if overall game mechanics were changed as well (case in point: EGC).
