Anyone agree or have better ideas?


EDIT:

For everyone saying it would be too easy. What if they limited it to one use per match?


Final Thoughts:

I think MoM should be built similarly to 'WGLF' and either given a limit of 1 use per match or increase the stacks to activate..

    No, too easy, I'd think picking up Survivors from downed to injured would be better.

    With having two tokens or changing the condition will make it perfect.

    My new condition idea was when you get hit while another survivor is getting chased OR taking hits near a survivor that's not in chase for 6 meters OR distracting the killer to chase you and take damage, count as a token of mettle and maybe increase the token to 4 or keep it to 3.

    This perk is for alturistic actions and I like the idea of rewarding myself by taking a bullet for the., better than protection scores only.

    Also I feel really ashamed by the buff they implemented, it's too awkward.

    This was tested in a PTB but removed due to being too easy to get stacks.

    They need to remove atleast the negative effect of the perk ... the aura revealing when healed to full . It is just stupid considering how hard is to make the perk work at all

    If they did that they should probably make the stack cooldown shared between unhooks and protection hits, to prevent people from getting two easy stacks by basically rushing a hook with BT and trading places with the hooked survivor.

    I'd like to see how it is with actually consistently functional protection hits first though 😄

    What if they were to limit the perk to one use per match? I mean now days it almost impossible to just activate it once.

    The version that was tested in that same PTB that added safe unhooks was only once per match. That was deemed too easy to get stacks.

    They should remove the requirement for taking hits and add the safe unhook requirement instead. That would make it a good perk and not too oppressive since there's no guraantee youll evena ctivate it and only 2 (and even then that's very difficult) can activate per match.

    You need 3 unhooks to activate it.

    If everyone survivor besides yourself gets hooked twice that's 6 unhooks you can possibly get. So you half to get half of ALL your possible unhooks to get it. Across all survivors theres 8 possible unhooks. So if there are two mettle of mans, for both to activate they basically have to pray that 1) Theres actually 6 hooks before they die and 2) none of those unhooks get stolen by people who don't need to get their mom activated. Realistically you can only see one activation in a game. Two once in a blue moon. More than that is literally impossible.

    I think the combination of protection hits/safe unhooks would be fine but only if they increased the amount of stacks you needed.

    If we're talking only one use per match I don't see whats so bad about it being easily attained...

    But first off, when I use WGLF, its not even that easy to get 3 points.

    This or MoM should only require two protection hits, either would be fine

    If we added safe unhooks, MoM would have to have 4/5 token requirement.

    If it required only 2 protection hits, it would be back to the broken MOM game destroyer.

    Because one use is all you need for it to be stupid powerful if the stacks are too easy to get.

    There are four versions of MoM that we've known of so far:

    1) Three basic attack hits - Too easy to get the stacks, so it was too strong

    2) Three protection hits and/or safe unhooks; also protected against insta-downs - Also too easy to get the stacks, so it was too strong

    3) Three protection hits - Really hard to get the stacks reliably (partially due to inconsistencies in protection hits), so it is pretty bad now

    4) Three protection hits but can be activated multiple times - Multiple activations is never happening, so it is basically identical to #3

    Or maybe they can just limit the amount you can get from hooks to just 1 while the other 2 are still hits or something else. I just don't want to see poeple runing for the hook all at th same time just to get these stacks .. cause it will happen
