Several basement hooks and altruism saves. Lots of decent chases, all in all it was a standard match.
But I mean c'mon "can't have fun during an event"? LMAO the "event" is bonus bloodpoints on pumpkin hooks... that's it.

@Peanits when are the husks coming because this issue is years old and doesn't do anything to those who dc every once in awhile. Especially when it comes to some of the new challenges.
Hooking all survivors in the basement.
Killing all survivors.
None of that will be possible if survivors dc, which is a normal regular thing apparently.

Devs thought about this issue. That’s why they made event hooks useless and didn’t take any measure against DCs. Lmao.

"Just move on" will get really hard in a couple of weeks when the Archive wants you to do challenges like the one with the basement party. Survivors dc'ing will deny the killer completing a challenge.

I've encountered 2 matches where 2 of my team-mates just straight up DC before they hooked (first hook) to prevent the event hook. Best part? Both times against Legion.

To be honest I have had this discussion with my friend but its mainly how streamers have changed the game that causes this. Btw not saying anything towards you personally I enjoy your videos ❤️🐷
Things like the following :
If you can't 4 k by the time so many gens your a baby
If you can't loop the killer for so long your a potato
If you are having a bad time dc or out played dc
I think the problem is people due to streamers expect some sort of game play like this should happened because I see it on streams all the time and this is how I should play.
It's to much a part of the game now but it's is where the problems in the community has come from in my opinion.

@OP Were they defo talking about you? Because the scores visible seem to indicate that there was a good amount of gameplay and nobody got camped on first hook...
@those calling DS "sweaty" - Its literally an anti-tunnel perk. How are people still mad at it? Theres no real reason to be upset with it if you just dont tunnel the person off the hook... I dont run it when I play survivor and when I encounter it as killer I just think "My bad - sorry about that"...
Regarding the general message - Events do bring out the worst on both sides. Body blockers/sabo event hooks, etc. Killers that basement camp. Everyone is horrible. Events just let people torture others more...
