is this normal

Did you redeem the reward for the previous challenge and than tried to continue with that challenge?
If not, than no this isn't normal and you should contact support to see what they can do about it, i'll link you it below.

BUT, if you didn't do what I said above at the start of this post, you should go and try doing that than come back here and let me know... if nothing changes than it's probably bugged and won't let you continue for some reason.
If so, THAN file a support ticket... otherwise if you do what I said and it works than you're fine.

It depends what the support team can do, they're limited in their ability to help, but they're the best to go to with most if not all issues that're too complicated for this sub-forum or too hard to get an answer too.
