this is not good design to demand 3 chests to be opened in same game with plunderer..
i have to confess i DCd 3 matches in row coz the purple coins i offered that put 2 extra boxes ppl woudl open it before i could get to it. and i also requested i was doing archives and asked them to let me open box.. but they wouldnt i dont blame them i blame whoever put that criteria and if this is any indication of future challenges.. thats not good.

There is one in the later levels that requires 4 chests in one match.
A lot of the challenges are tier 1 stuff but harder.
They definitely should nerf these challenges a bit

You don't need offerings, by default there will be 3 chests in a map.
In any case you should definetly blame those survivors. When I asked to leave chests to me they accepted and asked to let them heal in return, in the end everyone got what they wanted.

They're difficult because you have an indefinite amount of time to complete them.
The Archives are different from the Rift. They will never go away.
If they were easy, people would finish them quickly and be left with no more to strive for.

Normally it wouldn't be a problem. I often farm medkits with pharmacy, ace in the hole and plunders (Have about 200 emergency med kits, self care sux). I often casually loot all 3 chests in a match.
Problem is everyone is looting chests due to the rift.

Yep, don't tell anyone you have the quest and just put the offering and run for it. That's what i did, the first time I politely asked team to not open, I was trolled by a jane and she opened like 4 chests.

Well, it's super stupid, but create a build around the challenge. Like Pharmacy, Plunder, that useless Ace's perk to increase aura reading, Sprint Burst. Stupid challenges require stupid builds.

i play at irregular times so i dont have that luxury.. and i kinda like to play solo.. comms take the exeprience out of this game.

Did it on my first try. Was easy. No reason to DC in a game, you will get it eventually.
So yeah, neither your teammates, nor the creators of this challenges are to be blamed, you are to be blamed for DCing from games, just because you did not get what you wanted in the first try.

And on consoles? We have no chat and by the time we get 1 message sent by going through profiles and menus the match is loaded.

It's not too bad tbh I got it first try as a solo survivor, just ask politely to have all chests in the lobby chat. If you are on console well you are screwed lol.

This one was not an issue for me. I burned a purple coin and just started looking for chests to loot. I used plunderers, pharmacy, and Ace in the Hole. It should be the first thing you do in the trial.
If I see someone in the lobby burn a purple coin or a yellow one, I will not loot chests.

I managed to do this challenge but it was pure luck. All chests were close by and no teammate around. It's really bad designed.

It took me 2 games, first one this Claudette was ninjaing chests too, so neither of us got, second game I ended up getting 4 chests anyway. They just might take a few tries.

Well what can I say. PC Master Race, console peasants!
Make friends and do SWF then, or just play normally. I run Plunderer Solo ALL THE TIME and 4/5 games I will be the one opening all the chests. Survivors usually bring their own gear into the game and don't waste time opening chests until later, they like to gen rush.

I somehow managed to do it my first try. Once I spawned in I was running for every chest spawn I knew. Got lucky and found two in the killer shack and a final third one on the other side of the map. Got to loot it while the Demogorgan ate my team.
It's not too hard, especially compared to later challenges.
