Totem Spawns on New Maps

It's good that totem spawn locations have been changed to make them more difficult to find. However, some of the spawn locations on the re-worked maps (Badham Pre-school) are often too difficult to find.
I like the idea of having totems within an alcove. It's fine to cover them from three sides, such as a 'C' shaped alcove (such as a hedge). However, I've seen totems deeply recessed within an alcove so they're effectively covered from more than three sides - like 3 and a half or more sides.
I play killer and survivor equally, so I like to think my viewpoint is balanced. I personally think they should be located away from objectives and fairly difficult to find: such as behind a tree along the edge of the map (like in the swamp maps). I should be able to see it when I pass it, even from a reasonable distance.
It's easy to miss the totems on the re-worked maps, even if you walk, and especially run, right past it. With everyone running hex perks, I almost feel forced into using Small Game or Detectives Hunch every game.

Yeah I feel like the new totem spawn on badham is pretty crazy now, like unless you're really really unlucky the totem usually last for more than half of the game, I have had so many game on that map where no survivor have been able to find the ruin
