The Hatch Rework
INTRODUCTION:
When the 2nd to last survivor reaches the third phase of sacrifice and if the hatch has already spawned in the map. The old hatch will sink into the ground and a new hatch will appear somewhere! This prevents the killer or survivor from making a straight line to the hatch, especially the killer since (s)he can close it in my version. If the hatch hasn't spawned but you have the minimum requirement for it to spawn by doing 2 generators, it will just appear randomly on the map just like current build after the 2nd to last survivor dies.
As the final survivor dies, the fog will get very VERY thick! This helps the final survivor be stealthy and have an easier time searching for the hatch. After the 2nd to last survivor gets sacrificed, a red mini bar will appear underneath your health state icon, this red bar is a two minute sacrifice timer. If you don't enter the hatch before the two minute timer expires then you'll automatically be sacrificed from wherever your standing at. As the timer gets closer to expiring, these glowing areas will begin to appear on you! This is exactly like the legacy skins with their glowing spots and it will continuously keep building up on you as the timer gets closer to expiring. This will allow the killer to see you more clearly through the very thick fog, so you have to be careful when you have a lot of build up on you.
TIMER RULES:
The timer follows the exact rules of a RBT timer. It won't decrease when in dying state, in the killer's grasp, or in a chase. However if the killer closes the hatch, the two minute timer wil be immediately reduced to 0 and sacrifice you.
WIN CONDITIONS:
Survivor- Escape through the hatch before the two minute timer expires while avoiding the killer.
Killer- Prevent the survivor from entering the hatch for two minutes by either closing it, sacrificing the survivor, or wait for the last survivor's timer to expire.

fog becomes very thick? hell no. that is ridiculous. want the fog to be thick oh yeah wait for it. take a fog offering ding ding. the whole fog crap your talking about favours survivors more a free escape. the hatch sink into the ground and move. also no .... and sacrificing a survivor in 2 minutes if they cant do a gen or escape. no that wont happen. all of this reminds me of deathgarden. if you want these things go play that when it comes out lol. seems that game has the mechanics your looking for

I like the idea (simple and tough), but i guess the main ballance and not random/luck stuff, to spawn hatch not randomly, but kinda in place between (if 2 players far away from each other). and if they are near each other, to spawn it as much far away so both have equal chances to find it first, not just one of players lucky enough to insta win.
some ppl taking "whispers" perk just for that cases. if fog becomes TOO thick so killer can't see, can it activate (maybe not in permanently, just in hatch situation) from "whispers" heartbeat or some whisper sound for killer to have more chances to find invisible surv.
and for surv, if hatch already closed, there still can be situation with 3+ more gens to run. last surv already did godd job to live for that moment) not fair to abandon him hopeless. many ppl will just leave, i guess. more fair will be after killer close hatch, all gens will automatically run (or 4, and last one (one of 3) he'll have to run from 60% progress to 100%), so surv have to open one of two gates and leave.
even if closing hatch = all gens run, its still pretty hard to escape with no one open gates for u untill u running from the killer in 2 mins. especially with most of palletes broken (endgame and stuff).so in the end i suggest to ur idea stronger whispers perk (only in hatch situation) with louder=closer to surv and closing hatch = all gens (or most of them + last 3 on 60+%) so surv have a chance to escape with gates within 2 min timer.

I think your idea is really interesting. I can't say that I agree with it though simply because it adds a lot of unnecessary variables to the end game.
Although, I do believe that the hatch is currently in a bad place and could easily be fixed by the following:
Considering current hatch mechanics, it would be great if the door was just concealed more instead of being in plain sight. Observation is an integral part of gameplay in Dead By Daylight, especially if you're a survivor or killer in an intense chase. It would seem more rewarding to me if a player who remained calm and collected was able to discern the hatch's location in a chase, rather than the current system of "Oh, hey look! I can see it 20m away from where I'm running."
In a situation where neither side knows where the hatch is, I think it's great that both the survivor and killer have to explore the map and use auditory clues to discern it's location. If it was concealed better, there would be room for more high-risk high-reward end-game gameplay while still allowing for the use of keys and maps.0 -
Or, after the 3rd survivor dies, the screen will fade to black as suspenseful music starts to play..
Next thing, the killer and the remaining survivor will reappear under a spotlight on a stage infront of a red curtain where they shall proceed to test their might in an arm-wrestle in a mortal kombat style showdown by pressing the buttons correctly.

Yeah, I know this rework won't fix everything wrong with hatch mechanic but it's a lot better than not having a chance to kill the last survivor unless the survivor is new. Whenever I see the last survivor, I just hit the survivor and move on, there's nothing else that I can do. I know I'm not "entitled for a 4k" but the last survivor isn't "entitled for a escape" either. I just want to give the survivor and killer a 50/50 playing field because as a killer there's nothing you can do once the survivor has found the hatch! Just hit and move on!0
