Hope rework
This perk is underused so heres the change.
When only 2 survivors remain, you gain a 40% gen speed increase WHEN a survivor is in the dying state. Completing a gen would give them a healthstate. If you are downed when only 2 survivors remain and a gen is completed, you will gain a health state.
Now its not bs like my first concept thanks for enlightening me. It now only works during the annoying slug/bleed out part of a match.
Tell me what you think. It may still be underused even but not nearly as much as current hope is.

Ye lets make SWF stronger!!!!

No.
I'm imagining that I slugged someone because they have Decisive, but then they have Hope as well.
Oh look; Killer can't do anything to actually stop the Survivor from getting away now because Survivors now have yet another escape for free perk.

yeah can see this going bad fast "oh look hope and adrenaline proced at the sametime woop" back to full health from basically dead

You underestimate how much 7% increased movement speed is.

no i know. But no one uses it.

you're actually totally right. Im gonna change it right now XD

I mean, it was a neat idea, but since perks don't exist in a vacuum, Decisive & Adren kind of make it OP.

K i just edited it and like it more now so thanks.

I changed the rework concept. Im more killer sided usually. Now its only used towards end of match but definitely better for it. Thanks for feedback lol

I've always wanted a perk that involves the light generated from completed generators.
My hope would be:
Standing in a radius of 2 meters from a completed generator inspires you with hope. All status effects disappear 30/40/50 percent faster and healing speed when healing or being healed is increased by 50/60/70 percent.
The numbers may seem quite high but you have to keep in mind one needs to spend time running to a generator to actually use the perk. In fact, I would sooner increase the stats than decrease them.

40% may be a bit OP. But that's semantics. Numbers can always be changed in the name of balance. (Which is why I usually either put 'Numbers are for concept purposes only' or just '<x>%'
Other than that, I tenitivly like it :)

you could have it go up by a % per dead survivor left this way its scales by situational difficulty

If I was reworking hope I'd have it activate after the first gen is complete. And scale up with each completed gen. After the first gen is complete you would get a 3% speed boost. Then 4 and 5 and so on. That way you'd always be getting use out of it. And it would fit more with the perks name. Your hope of escape building with each completed gen.

Like Fire Up but for survivors. Interesting. I dont know how much this would affect meta but it should be tested. Cool idea

Well then it would be super strong. If its gradual then u cant have the extremely fast speed when slugged. Theres already perks that increase gen speeds. This one is strictly meant for when killer wants the 4k.

Hope is fine. If people start making it meta, "counters" to it would become more common like NOED and do we want that?
0 -
Did u know that if you cleanse all the totems, then noed wont be activated?
0 -
I'm talking about Hope not noed.

Noed is already pretty common. I doubt it would see much of a spike.
Thanks. I think it would be very interesting to try. My only concern is it could make looping a bigger issue. Of course that's what testing is for.

if you ask me hope shouldn't have a timer since endgame collapse is a thing

I think it'll be unbalanced since all 4 survivors could be running it and move faster throughout the game. Hope's effect is already pretty decent but the timer needs to be longer or just make it last forever once it activates.
