The devs endorse dcing

Yep.

By not perma banning the 4 survivors in the twitch rivals tournament who all knowingly abused an exploit (DC to give hatch) in front of thousands of viewers, regardless of weither they were "having fun" or not its still an exploit and is supposed to be bannable behaviour, the devs have shown that they, in fact fully support and endorse this behaviour .

So have at it, just DC whenever you feel like it, the devs support your childish behaviour.

No they don't it's just done on a percentage due to the p2p naturen of the game whick makes it difficult to perma ban someone which they can't tell the exact reason for so its an automatic process. They dont actively follow people around twitch and ban someone who they see do it on purpose that's ludacris to think so.

If they endorsed it they wouldn't be working on a new system with scaling time outs which actually affect every swf member if one dc's.

For one thing, disconnecting once isn’t bannable and it was in a kyf match which also is definitely not bannable. These were friends playing together, even tofu thought it was funny. Context is important.

quitting in custom games aren't bannable that's never been a thing in the history of online video games

No we don't promote DC's - we do ban for DC's when someone reaches the threshold that we have set. DC'ing to give someone a hatch, is not bannable offence if you are within your DC threshold.

Kill Your Friends matches are entirely different however, and we don't ban for these.

    Thank you for your concern!
