The Styptic Rework is FUN
Being able to BT yourself and go for some big plays is actually really fun. I never used it to pick up teammates before the rework (only ever used syringes for pickups), so it doesn't feel like we lost anything with the new effect. The BT effect is a pretty significant buff from gaining a health state since chainsaws and exposed hits don't bring you down. Pretty dang cool if you ask me.

Depends how fast Killers will adapt.
Because basically, as Killer, when the Survivor just lost his Medkit, you have to wait for 10 seconds to get rid of both "Insta Heals". The Endurance is gone after 8 seconds and the 16 seconds for the Syringe have not been reached.
But yeah, it is kinda nice, even tho, I used it for yolosaving Teammates without BT so that I can at least get out safely.

The problem with the Styptic, is that I'm a Plunderer who runs Ace in the Hole.
Whenever I pull a Medkit from a chest with Styptic, I just pull my hair out in frustration because it can't even friking' heal you.

Maybe run Pharmacy with those two so you get a guaranteed green medkit?

How does green medkit help? A green medkit with a Styptic will result in a useless medkit that can't heal.

I am pretty sure that you can use Styptic Agent just when you are injured, so exposed perks or abilities can still counter it if you are healthy. But it's buffed against Plague or if you use No Mither together with it.

You can heal fully with it. The charges are not reduced anymore.

I opened my game just to be sure (since wiki is still oudated) the styptic / syringe no longer reduce charges, so you can either heal or use the stypctic when needed.

That's correct; you have to be injured to use a medit and it's addons.

The syringe is okay but definitely shouldn't be ultra-rare anymore.
